Letting go of 2008 :)

Bring on the New Year!

Bring on the New Year!

Happy New Years Eve Friends,

This is it, the last day of a very challenging year. Are you going to be able to let go of the failures and shattered dreams of 08 in order to move into 09 with FRESH VISION? Letting go is so important. Life can be very discouraging at times. And no matter how hard we all try to do things so perfectly with our lives; we still make so many mistakes.

Without a doubt, this past year has been challenging for every person throughout our land. For some of us, 2008 did exactly what it needed to do. It brought the discomfort we needed to aim for a far BETTER WAY OF LIVING. We came through this fire with a beautiful compassion for our fellow man. We’re coming out with a new attraction to spiritual things. More and more of us are recognizing how difficult life can be when we drift through life without a nearness to God. We see the futility of materialism and the danger of self reliance. Overall, the experience has been favorable… and I personally thank God for a very beautiful year!

Naa naaa nanaa… naa naaa nanaa… hey hey hey, goodbye! Oddeeeeoooooss 2008! Thanks for the lessons, thanks for the blessings… thanks for the humility and a new desire for the most important things in life. 2008, you’ve enlightened us… and tonight, we’re moving on!

This is it… one more day to look back and learn whatever you were supposed to learn from this year. Only hours left to meditate on your 08 progress. One more day to compile it all together and doodle out a lively plan for next 12 months! I’m commanding you to LET GO of 2008 before your head hits the pillow this night! LOL! Seriously, let it go… because tomorrow, a NEW YEAR BEGINS!

We love you guys so very much. We pray for you each and everyday. Because of you, there is still a light shining in the earth… a warmth in this wintry era! No matter what’s ahead for the nations of the earth in 2009, let us each aim for the most MEANINGFUL YEAR of our lives!

I’ll chat with you next year! Have a super New Years Eve! 🙂

  1. Your post today falls right in line with what I am studying in a bible study by Beth Moore currently.

    In "The Patriarchs", the life of Abraham what hit me today in my homework lesson was this: Heb 11:13-16 how 15: "And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had the opportunity to return" (NKJV).

    The connection I see is this: God told Abraham in Gen 12:1 to leave his country and your people and Go to a land I will show you. Abraham obeyed and went, not knowing where he was going but he knew he had a Goal in mind. He had a promise from God.

    of course there is a whole lot more in between but what grabs me today being new years eve and your teaching on goals and my own experiences in life is this. "You can't move forward if you keep looking back" just like in Hebrews 11 , Abraham kept his thoughts and his vision on what was ahead not on what was behind.
    Happy New Year to you and your entire family and flock of critters! I can't say anything we have 5 animals ourselves 🙂 Be glad she never wanted a monkey. I always wanted a pet monkey when I was a kid!

  2. The Lord says!

    Sacred revolution is coming to tremendous bloom!

    Purity! Power! Gospel!

    for

    "the spirit of the Lord is upon me,

    Because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;

    He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives

    and recovery of sight to the blind,

    to set at LIBERTY those who are oppressed;

    to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."

    Luke 4:18-19 NKJV

    Revolution! Revolution!

    The army of the Lion of Judah is rising up!

    Arise O Apostles! Prohpets! Evangelists! Pastors! and Teachers!

    Arise creative Warriors of hope!

    for exodus 31:6 says "I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisians"

    Oh Arise Deacons! Bishops! and Elders! for i will pour out many sheep!

    Destroy! Destroy! says the Lord of Hosts Destroy the works of the Devil!

  3. Nice prophecy… I would normally leave a message like this pending until I could verify the sourse… but this is good and I bear witness, so there it is. Thanks for sharing that with us "preacher." Have a super day!

  4. Your picture you chose for the blog today was perfect. It made me think of a refreshing New Year. This year was great, but I am ready for a new one and to see what God has in store. I still remember the new years eve night I spent playing with Temple and Heaven and their friends in Heaven's room with brat dolls. LOL. It was fun times.
