Hello and Good Morning Friends!
Don’t forget to look at your newly created Life Management Plan today… and do something else that takes you one step closer to achieving your goals!
This morning, I thought about Zacchaeus, the prominent tax collector who invited Jesus over to his house for dinner. During his FIRST DINNER with Jesus, Zacchaeus decided to implement a MASSIVE PLAN OF ACTION for his life. No more baby steps for this guy… he recognized that this was his time to act.
Luke 19:8-9… Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said, “I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!” Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham.
Some would have labeled this man impulsive. I however, see great value in taking bold steps! Here’s a guy who took a deep breath… and shocked his community with a gigantic demonstration of his spiritual transformation. His life was touched by Jesus and he wanted to send a message.
Think about the breaking away from boredom this man must have experienced that day! Think about how much his actions must have impacted his entire community! Can you picture what our world would be like if more and more of us today would shock our peers with similar gigantic demonstrations?
Maybe we should stop taking baby steps and go for something this year that really gets our blood flowing! Maybe WE should give half our wealth to the poor… or a gigantic portion of our lives in humble service! Then we can high five Zacchaeus when we get to heaven… and while we remain in this earth, we can enjoy the inner peace that comes with selfless, sacrificial living!

sometimes baby steps are giant steps for some people as long as the stride is moving forward and not backward..Everyones pace will not be the same but our goals should concieve that positive value of service and giving of what we have to offer.i want to be that giver of all and taker of none and really go beyond our means and double up on all our blessings to others..good aspect even if we take that baby or giant leap of faith at least we take the plundge..way to go pastor–pam
If there is one area we need to be bold in is in our faith.
