Good Thursday My Friends!
My jaw dropped from the start of the service last night, as the teenagers of Destiny Family Center SHINED LIKE STARS! There is no greater measure of accomplishment for a church than to watch an emergent generation step up and stand out! That’s exactly what happened last night! The attendance was abundant… they had invited their friends and family to come watch them give their version of Jesus to our church.
Three high school teachers and two other local Pastors came to cheer them on. All of us were moved by the words and actions rising up out of their beautiful hearts! When the service was over, 13 teens and adults raised their hands and passionately prayed the prayer of salvation! These guys and gals even gathered in a huge circle after dismissal, praying for God to set them apart for something GREAT!
Jessica Smith was the chosen one from our youth group to give last nights message… and what a message she gave! There were times that I couldn’t believe my ears! Jessica spoke like a seasoned orator… easily and comfortably commanding the wholehearted attention of us all! I personally, hung on every word coming out of her mouth! Jessica challenged us to do whatever it takes to make our relationship with God more important that anything else in this world.
The Lifehouse skit, “Everything” was flawless! It reminded everyone about how God lovingly rescues us from the dark forces bent on dragging each person down into misery!
These guys and gals were greeting people coming through the doors, opening the service, receiving the offering… they ran the church last night, from beginning to end! Nobody could overlook the wonderment they lavished on everyone in the building. We were smiling ear to ear as they turned our church, their schools, and this community upside down! In that brief moment of time, we all felt great pride and a new hope for the future of our world!
Genesis 22:15-18 The angel of God spoke from Heaven a second time to Abraham: “I swear-God’s sure word!-because you have gone through with this, and have not refused to give me your son, your dear, dear son, I’ll bless you-oh, how I’ll bless you! And I’ll make sure that your children flourish-like stars in the sky! Like sand on the beaches! And your descendants will defeat their enemies. All nations on Earth will find themselves blessed through your descendants because you obeyed me.”
These are the promises God gave to Abraham because he dedicated his son to Gods purposes. Let us claim these promises over our young as we also dedicate them to his great purposes! May they FLOURISH and SHINE LIKE STARS IN THE SKY! May our descendants always DEFEAT THEIR ENEMIES! May ALL NATIONS of the earth FIND THEMSELVES BLESSED through our emerging generations!
Let’s pay attention to our young today and every day! Let us go out of our way to CHEER THEM ON… and make them know that we believe they are mighty champions!

Chuck, that sure was an amazing and very moving service last night! I had spread the word in my church about this service and I e-mailed friends and family before the service to make sure they could watch; I invited people in the community into my home to watch. After the service, my phone was ringing off the hook with comments and praise which goes out to 1)God 2) Jessica Smith 3) You and DFC!!! The youth were great, the message was great! God bless you and God bless Destiny Family Center!

We have to always pray for them. We need to lift up those 13 teens and adults who raised their hands for salvation! and Pray that they will get in a bible believing Church, and DFC would be a great one . Keep all of the Hall Family in your Prayer Have A Great Day!

Last night was amazing! Every piece of it. The place was packed too. I told Bo I am so looking foward to acquire the fire and spending time with these teens! They truly are an amazing group of people and we are blessed to have them at DFC on fire for God and its a privilege to be able to pour into
their lives what God has trusted us with.
I knew one of the pastors there last night from way back and he last knew of me going to my
old church. He seemed a bit shocked to see me there but didn't ask why like most people do.
His comment was answered by his own thoughts. He said that Jess was such a witness there at
Riverheads (he also teaches there too) and that this MUST BE a good church. He talked about how this Pastor is doing an incredible work here. He talked about how Jess if a reflection of this church so he can see that the right things are going on here. I said yes! and I told him the YOUTH pastor is awesome too! I told him we have an amazing group of teens and church!
I walked away very proud of MY CHURCH and MY PASTOR. That comment and that service, was
direct result from your discipleship teaching, from YOU Pastor Chuck pouring your life into
ours day after day, week after week, one by one, over and over again and again until it sticks.
It starts with you and filters down through the body and you do an awesome job at setting the
example to follow! I know it's all for God's GLORY and HE is the one to credit but you are
the one
that has been called out and set apart to teach and preach and make disciples of all the world
and you are answering that call LOUD AND CLEAR !
Last night's service was awesome from beginning to end!! The youth at DFC are definately set
apart!! Their light was shining bright.
Hey I just wanted to say that that is so cool about your youth. Our youth group (in Suillivan Missouri) has been exploding over the last several months and our big thing is that we try to do most everything as a "Student led youth ministry" We had our youth do a portion of a Sunday morning a few weeks ago and it was so awesome. They also performed that same skit by Lifehouse "Everything" It was so amazing and I think the adults were all in awe as was I!
It's so cool to see this generation getting on fire for God. Around here their hearts are really getting on fire and it looks like there too!! God does have some amazing things he wants to do with these teens and how cool to see him happening all over the US!

Last night was the best thing I had ever seen.
I can't wait to see it on the archives. Sounds amazing!!! There is nothing like teens reaching out for Jesus that excites me more!!
