Just want to take a moment and thank Lou for doing something special for our church:
He put our logo and a thorough description of our church on his “Links” page at his business. Then he put it at the top of the list. So many of you do this sort of thing in unexpected ways, and occassionally I just want to recognize someone for that.
Jesus reminded us how important it is to be thankful, when he healed the 10 lepers, but only one returned to thank. I hope I’m that 1.

I remember YEARS ago before I even attended Destiny Family Center, I was intrigued by the name of "Lou West" wondering just who was this man? I had watched the services on line REGULARLY and felt I knew the heart of Pastor Chuck and the church and KNEW this was a church full of compassion and love for ALL PEOPLE.
The more I watched the more I was drawn to it. Lou's name would come up a lot in testimonies from people getting baptized and or newly saved. They would talk about how he found them at the mission or on the streets and how he gave them a job or took them in or gave them food. I would sit at my computer and cry watching.
Lou and Maggie are awesome people! Thank you. They make up part of the body of the church I am so blessed to be a member of.
It takes all of us to do and be what God has called us to do and be to complete the church.
