Happy Saturday Everyone!
Very long week… and I am ready to do some serious resting today… well, maybe not your kind of resting. May do some yard work and maybe go on a hike… and who knows what else! Resting my bruised mind is what I’m really after!
Church is going to be amazing tomorrow morning! 10am Destiny Family Center… come in person or watch LIVE on the webcast! We like the in person option the best… so we can admire your pretty faces! Bring a guest and EXPOSE your pals to something NEW! Trust me… you’ll be the hero!
Twitter: the world of social networking is ALWAYS changing… and even though I am currently 37 (until July 1st)… I’m determined to remain FLEXABLE! So many guys and gals my age and older take YEARS to embrace new ideas. The older we get, the longer we contemplate. It’s good to carefully proceed in a world of shifting conviction. But we must not hesitate too long… or we will be shoved right out of the world of INFLUENCE! We will be holy yes… but without the ability to mentor that holiness into the emerging generations!
“I am still young, and sharp, and flexible right? My spirit is keen to the opportunities in this evolving society!” Lately, I have prayed for God to make this affirmation a living reality! That I will be able to stand firm on my ancient values, while seeing the world through the eyes of the kids, teens, and young adults! This kind of determination will safeguard me from become an old wineskin… in a NEW WINE world!
I must admit that learning curves frustrate me sometimes… and just when I was really gaining INFLUENCE on Facebook… along comes Twitter! And whereas I resisted myspace for a few years… and facebook for about a year… I am jumping up onto the Twitter platform much faster. So look me up at www.twitter.com/chuckbalsamo. Become my follower and I will become yours. Who knows if Twitter will last (personally, I still dont like it)… and who knows what’s next. Let’s use it all to REACH into more lives and make a great big spiritual difference in this Christless society!
Yes, people need to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND AWAY FROM THEIR TECHNOLOGY to breathe fresh air of nature and do real life with touchable humans. So don’t become addicted! Because of my AMAZING life and my always active schedule… I’m only using Facebook and Twitter. Do whatever works for you and keep your life balanced! That’s my social networking advice for today… not too deep. Just a few random thoughts.

Tweet Tweet….welcome to the world of Twitter. I joined awhile back to keep track of my brother. I will look you up. I don’t use it too much, but I read what my brother is up to. That is how he and I communicate mostly. Crazy right? But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to keep in touch with family.

I joined Twitter several months ago as a way of staying ahead of my kids. In fact, that’s why I join any of these social networking sites is just to be able to say; “Oh yeah, I signed up for that weeks ago, where have you been?”
