Good Morning Everyone,

It looks like today is going to be a pretty day… sunny and warmer. Maybe spring is here to stay this time? Maybe the cold dead days of winter are almost gone… and maybe this is really the time when dead things are GOING to live again!

Our lives cycle just like the four seasons. There are times for plowing and planting… watering and growing… harvesting and celebrating… dying and purifying… and then back around to the beginning of a NEW CYCLE OF SEASONS.

In our lives, we can all see how this happens over and over… no matter how hard we try to hold on to one season, another one is ALWAYS just around the corner.

Surely we would love to plant, grow, and harvest without having to cycle through a periodic WINTER.

John 12:24 says, “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.”

John 15:1-2 says,  “I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. ² He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”

So then the way to life is death and the way to grow is to be CUT BACK. 

Look around and you will see evidence of this in your garden. Pushing up in the exact spot where now lays last years decomposed beauty, are the early signs of ANOTHER SEASON OF BEAUTIFICATION. We don’t yet know what will become of these emerging sprouts… but we can celebrate, knowing that a NEW SEASON is off and running… and NOTHINGS GONNA HOLD IT BACK!  

The very same is happening in your LIFE. Where now lays yesterdays beauty, dry and withered and rotted… now comes a vibrant YOUNG BLESSING! You thought the winter would last forever… you wondered if you would live through this dying and purifying season… and HERE YOU ARE SPROUTING AGAIN! 

We have no idea what God is going to do with you next… but we do know that God is not finished working in your life! We know that he is the GARDENER and if he pruned you back, he did it as an act of LOVE! If he brought you through a brief moment of deadness, he did this because there were some things that needed to die away… to make room for all the NEW LIFE HE IS BRINGING FORTH FROM YOU THIS NEW SEASON! 

Be thankful that you are pruned and purified… bless the winter… thank God for the frigid bareness! Rejoice… SPRING IS SPRINGING right in front of your wanting eyes! God is doing miracles for you and I my friends… lots and lots of mighty miracles! There is no telling just how beautiful we’re going to look in a few short months! 

So hold on little plant… your gardener has been setting you up for a year of fruit bearing like no other year before this!
