30+ Thoughts on Effective Evangelism- Clip #1

Good Morning Great Friends!

I’m at the hospital again this morning, this time at UVA sitting with Kevin Myers while his AMAZING wife Pam undergoes a very successful triple bypass surgery! Pam is a regular commenter on this blogsite and a BEAUTIFUL Lady! Maybe you can say a prayer for Pam this morning.

As promised… drum role please… rumble, rumble, rumble… here’s the first of a few video clips from “30+ Thoughts on Effective Evangelism” we will be posting over the next few days. The teaching happened on Sunday night at White Hill Church of the Brethren… I hope you enjoy! Please post your comments… and have a most triumphant day!

Did you say "super- duper"? That must be it!… see, I KNEW there was a reason you're my favorite pastor!! So glad Vickie captured this event, your energy and the energy of the people was way up! (as usual!) What inspired me the most was, as I listened, I could actually feel walls of intimidation in myself crumbling! Oh what we could do if we were less self-centered and more Jesus-centered! Anyway, looking forward to more clips in the future…have a su- …have wonderful day!! :)

  3. I know I did, I meant your teaching was awesome!:) I just pray I caught good clips because I would get caught up in your incredible teaching and forget to push record. Next time people will come in person!!

What grabbed my heart the most out of the whole teaching was what drew me into Destiny Family Center to begin with and that was YOUR compassion and YOUR radical love for ALL people from ALL walks of life.

You teach and preach Jesus and model a walk for your sheep to follow that truly shows the Fathers love and how we should reach others with that love. You offer a welcomed place of worship where we can invite ANYONE in and know they are welcomed, accepted as they are and allow the Holy Spirit to do the rest!

I Thank you for that because going out and evangelizing in our day to day happenings is a wonderful feeling but knowing we have a church home and a Pastor who truly loves whomever we invite in …. now that makes all the difference!
