Happy Monday Friends,

I hope you had a good weekend… did some fun stuff… rested maybe? Ours was great… no rest, but plenty of fun. Yesterday morning, I preached a message about the freedom of living as God’s SERVANT… and even though the attendance was down and the crowd energy was a little off pace, the message felt so right! I did what I was commissioned to do, the best that I could do it at this phase of my life… and my Father has deemed me his good and faithful servant.

Matthew 25:23 His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Even though I am a one of the most RESULTS oriented guy you’ll ever meet… I’m learning that there are seasons in all our lives when we must not assess our progress based upon the outward result. Sometimes, when we’re doing our very best, results are SLOW to show up.

There is a planting SEASON… and there is a harvesting SEASON. Notice how planting and harvesting do not happen in the same season!  

Galatians 6:9 KJV And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9 NLT So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

At JUST THE RIGHT TIME… we will REAP A HARVEST OF BLESSING… IF we DON’T GIVE UP! This has to be one of the hardest things to do in life… to WAIT IN FAITH FOR A PROMISED HARVEST! But it is necessary if we hope to harvest blessings. 

The suggestion here is to KEEP DOING GOOD no matter how much time lapses between planting and harvest.

Whenever we fall out of the game due to the weariness of waiting… and we start to wonder what’s the use of doing good when nothing seems to be working out fast enough… and we lose sight of the coming harvest… and we break down so badly that we start doing bad… it is like going back through our field of blessings and planting weeds beside of EVERY BLESSING. 

To do this… to sabotage our own blessings… it’s a real waste of all the toil we put into the PLANTING season. We have a HARVEST COMING… there is a DUE SEASON of promised BLESSING for all the good we have been planting. As long as we DONT GROW WEARY IN WELL DOING.   

Let’s pray for endurance today… let’s stand in faith today… let’s pray our best prayers TODAY… let’s commit to keep DOING GOOD today… let’s DO MORE GOOD and plant more future BLESSING in our field of blessings!
