Happy Sunday!

As you can tell, I’m on vacation… and since its BEEN A LONG TIME, I may be writing shorter blogs over the next few weeks. Internet service out here is horible… I’m having to dangle my arms over the side of my porch in order to write you guys! This gives new meaning to the phrase, GOING OUT ON A LIMB FOR YOU! LOL

My cell phone lost internet yesterday and its working today. So, if all goes well… I will be adding photos and updates on twitter and facebook throughout each day. Please join us for the vacation photo tour! Its kind of like taking a vacation with us… except you’re not sleeping in our bed… or eating our food… or stinking up our bathroom in the morning! LOL

The big news down here is an explosion that took place on Ocracoke Island yesterday morning. Something went terribly wrong while setting up for the 4th of July fireworks display and the truck blew up! Three people are confirmed dead already… check out the latest at WITN News… and pray for everyone associated with this disaster. 

Back at home, Charlie Hatcher is speaking at Destiny Family Center! Charlie is one of our bible college students… a tremendous father and husband, a man of great character, and a powerful speaker! I’m going to catch some of 10am service online before heading to church out here. Pray for DFC and pray for Charlie… and ENJOY the service if you’re able to tune in!

The ocean was AMAZING yesterday… could see all the way to our toes! Emily’s brother Dave had all the SPECIAL junk food from Trader Joe’s as usual! All the little kids (and me)… we FLOCK TO DAVE when he starts whipping out his GOODIES! I LOVE EMILYS ENTIRE FAMILY… they are SO MUCH FUN!

Fireworks were beautiful last night! Got to play a really cool card game with Coree last night before going to bed at about 11:15. 

This morning, I watched a dolphin from my porch! You can see a better photo of the handsome fellow… and photo’s of all kinds of random vacation moments… at the photo tour… so head on over there now… and I’ll chat with you all later on!
