Whoa! Reading your blog this morning gave me a flashback to my old high school science classes: one of the principles of physics is "A body at rest tends to stay at rest." Wiki Answers says: At rest denotes a constant velocity including velocity of zero. Newton's Law says that a body will change its velocity ,accelerate or decelerate, only when an external force is applied. No force, no acceleration, no change in velocity. At rest itself denotes no force.

This is true for a spiritual body as well. But we have access to the greatest force of all, the Holy Spirit to propel us forward at incredible velocity.
