Happy Tuesday!
Brrrrrrr… it’s chilly here in Virginia, USA this morning! I’m on my patio going through my super morning routine, with a BLANKET and a HOODIE… fingers are so cold they’re not functioning properly! Toes are cold too! Feel like I’m just about to break into a full blown SHIVER! I think our KOI are ultra confused right now… they’re all at the bottom of the pond wondering if they forgot to prep for winter! It’s ok little guys… the sun will be out shortly!
I love this time of the year. The air feels so FRESH… birds seem too cold for singing. All I can hear is the sound of water falls, and an occasional bird trying to keep the summer alive! Wow, the change feels so right… the timing so perfect. Change sparks creativity!
Change: to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone: to change one’s name; to change one’s opinion; to change the course of history.
The real differences between living organisms and a dead ones… are the multiplicity of CHANGES taking place within the organisms at any given moment! More CHANGE, more LIFE… less CHANGE, less LIFE.

The Apostle Paul weighs in on the subject of change in Romans 12:2 when he uses the greek word, metamorphoo (english: transformed) which means: to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure.
Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
The kind of change Paul calls for is a metamorphosis of the MIND, resulting FROM Spiritual influence… resulting IN mental and physical metamorphosis in the individual… and thus a metamorphosis of society! And God knows how much our 21st Century world needs METAMORPHOSIS!
We are the light of the world, a city set up on a hill for all to see. As followers of Christ, we are created for CHANGE! But first we must BE CHANGED! The modern church needs a substantial metamorphosis. I believe we are capable of morphing into our finest version YET!
We have the FAITH of our Father… the SAME faith that CREATED the heavens and the earth! Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now Faith IS the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things NOT YET SEEN!”
Meaning, that through FAITH, we are well able to ENVISION TOMORROWS BETTER WORLD… with eyes of FAITH, we can SEE HOW THINGS CAN BE… and we have all it takes to turn these visions into REAL SUBSTANCE!
I believe, the Body of Christ has more potential for positively effecting todays world than ANY other people group on the face of the earth. We must harness the POWER of change… let go of fear and COME ALIVE in a NEW GLORY.
