Happy Thursday!
Last night… I shared the LOVE… AND I LIKED IT!
HISTORY was made with the VERY successful completion of NIGHT ONE: GO Outreach! Twelve teams of 4-5 people left Destiny Family Center @ 7:15… knocked on about 12 doors each… we brought LOVE AND LIFE to approximately 90 families… WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES… and returned to DFC @ 8:30 with something like 40 unique STORIES of success!
Really, I’m estimating that 10 or more families will visit Destiny Family Center and find LIFE as a result of that ONE HOUR! Wow you guys… what a difference we made last night! I’ve NEVER seen a group of Christians HAPPY like these people were at 8:30 last night!
My theory was CORRECT… a persons spiritual ENCOUNTER is SIGNIFICANTLY ENHANCED by taking the LIFE he has to those who need it MORE!
Proverbs 11:24-25 Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. 25 The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
Jesus said it like this: GIVE as FREELY as YOU have RECEIVED. (Matthew 10:7b)
The stories from last night were UNBELIEVABLE! All night and morning, I’ve been receiving text messages, emails, fb messages, wall posts, and voice mails about how much this GO Outreach is THE ONE THING THEY HAVE LIVED ALL THEIR LIVES to do!

Once I’ve had a chance to review last nights data… I will post some of the specifics, maybe in tomorrows blog. I feel that this kind of “GO” are rarely found in a modern church nowadays. And I’m SUPER GLAD when I read this blog. It was like a FINISHING TOUCH for my day.*smiling*
My church are filled with 70% youth from age 13-25 year and we still doing it “outreach” until today. We go from school to school, college to college .. And there, we found the lost generation.
We found that this is the most powerful thing on earth. We believe that building up people is HAND MADE, must go ONE O ONE.. Not in the class, not even in the church meeting.
Even Jesus walk from city to city, He visited home by home, and brought healing and salvation. Once He found Zacheus and change the city.
So, I’m excited and will always be excited about going out and meet people. I wish I could always sit on the corner of the cafetaria in one college or school and just meet and talk with people, like I used to be and guess what, I’m still doing it (now with my baby Max)
Many church nowadays are just INVITING people to COME, while God Himself ask us to GO thousand years ago. So let’s just keep GO “Go Outreach”

Historical, indeed! As we (the twelve) Destiny teams made history last night; walking from home to home, I felt connected to history already made. I was connected to a point in time when Jesus and his disciples moved from home to home, town to town…bringing LIFE…it was their mission and purpose and all they did for 3 years!
After we convened back at the church and reflected, there was a sense of FULFILLMENT OF PURPOSE sparking joy, excitement, drive and even more love!
Wouldn’t it be awesome if we kept this fire burning…if we kept this desire? If we could adopt the fulfillment of purpose into our daily lives?
I remember years ago, in the last town we lived in, our church did something like this. We used Wednesday nights to go door to door and ask people if they had anything we could pray with them about. I don’t remember if we even told them what church we were from, we just told them we were Christians and we wanted to pray for them about whatever was going on in their lives. All we did was pray. The response was phenomenal! and many families looked for us, eagerly awaiting our arrival each week after that, so that they could pray with us again, or tell us how the prayers were answered.
Most of those families never darkened the door of our church, but that wasn’t important. What was important was we were taking Jesus to THEM, and meeting them right where they were, and showing them Love without asking for anything in return. And God was glorified.
Beautiful comments! Wow Esslythe, no wonder you guys have such a gigantic church in Indonesia! The methods jesus taught us to use ACTUALLY worked for him… and they ACTUALLY work for anyone who uses those same methods today!

The number one reason people do not attend church is because they have never been invited!
