Up from the ashes of yesterdays awakening… perhaps the fading embers of yesterdays awakenings… could it be? that hope will flash out one more time… and for now, the whole earth groans… waiting… for the dead wood church to fall upon the unchanging mission of Jesus Christ… waiting for this generation to catch the HEART of Jesus, and be obsessed with his obsession to seek and save the lost… and should we fall face down on this ENLIVENING mission… perhaps we will burst into holy flames… and become the GREAT LIGHT OF THE WORLD… ONE MORE TIME!

The Church should be the hands and feet of Jesus. We are called to be Jesus' hands and feet. What an awesome calling on our lives. Are we willing to be His hands and feet and quit living for ourselves? Are willing to go to where He wants us to go to be His hands and feet? One of my heroes is my Aunt Peg. She is a humble woman and never wants credit for anything. Each year for about 6 months (I believe it is that long it could be a shorter amount of time) she goes to Africa to work in an orphanage. I love hearing her stories of the children and teenagers. She is in her 70's and gives of herself to this children to ensure they are taken care of and provided a safe place that is filled of love. I asked her why the children don't get adopted and she told me that so many people want to adopt the children, but want to take them out of Africa. She explained to me that the children deserve a better life and to be with a loving family, but it is so hard on them when they are taken out of their culture and wisped away to another culture. It made me realize that at times it is not always best to adopt a child and move them, but it is better to adopt them and move to where they are. Can you imagine the impact we could have on the areas they live in? It would be hard, but God would provide.
We are to be the light of the World provided that we ask the Holy Spirit to lead us and light us on fire for God and to always be pleasing to Him.

No we didn't watch the service. We were in bed. Randy and I are both manifesting symptoms of the flu. Pray for us. We have prayed for each other and ourselves, but it is always nice to have more than 2 joining in our agreement to get back to 100% health. I wanted to watch the service, but I couldn't stay awake. I will watch it in the archives though. Love you guys also. Keep being a light in the world. I am going to lay on the couch.
