Morphing Into Your Finest Version Yet!

Happy Tuesday!

Brrrrrrr… it’s chilly here in Virginia, USA this morning! I’m on my patio going through my super morning routine, with a BLANKET and a HOODIE… fingers are so cold they’re not functioning properly! Toes are cold too! Feel like I’m just about to break into a full blown SHIVER! I think our KOI are ultra confused right now… they’re all at the bottom of the pond wondering if they forgot to prep for winter! It’s ok little guys… the sun will be out shortly!

I love this time of the year. The air feels so FRESH… birds seem too cold for singing. All I can hear is the sound of water falls, and an occasional bird trying to keep the summer alive! Wow, the change feels so right… the timing so perfect. Change sparks creativity!

Change: to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone: to change one’s name; to change one’s opinion; to change the course of history.

The real differences between living organisms and a dead ones… are the multiplicity of CHANGES taking place within the organisms at any given moment! More CHANGE, more LIFE… less CHANGE, less LIFE.

9 Great quotes about change:

  • “The key to change… is to let go of fear.” Rosanne Cash
  • “Sometimes it’s the smallest decisions that can change your life forever.” Keri Russell
  • “There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction” Winston Churchill
  • “Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.” Anonymous
  • “Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.” Arnold Bennett
  • “We must become the change we want to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi
  • “If you don’t create change, change will create you” Anonymous
  • “The key to success is often the ability to adapt” Anonymous
  • “Growth means change and change involves risk, stepping from the known to the unknown.” Anonymous

The Apostle Paul weighs in on the subject of change in Romans 12:2 when he uses the greek word, metamorphoo (english: transformed) which means: to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure.

Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The kind of change Paul calls for is a metamorphosis of the MIND, resulting FROM Spiritual influence… resulting IN mental and physical metamorphosis in the individual… and thus a metamorphosis of society! And God knows how much our 21st Century world needs METAMORPHOSIS!

We are the light of the world, a city set up on a hill for all to see. As followers of Christ, we are created for CHANGE! But first we must BE CHANGED! The modern church needs a substantial metamorphosis. I believe we are capable of morphing into our finest version YET!

We have the FAITH of our Father… the SAME faith that CREATED the heavens and the earth! Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now Faith IS the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things NOT YET SEEN!”

Meaning, that through FAITH, we are well able to ENVISION TOMORROWS BETTER WORLD… with eyes of FAITH, we can SEE HOW THINGS CAN BE… and we have all it takes to turn these visions into REAL SUBSTANCE!

I believe, the Body of Christ has more potential for positively effecting todays world than ANY other people group on the face of the earth. We must harness the POWER of change… let go of fear and COME ALIVE in a NEW GLORY.

I hope todays blog INSPIRES a chain reaction of CHANGES in each of us! As the seasons shift in a NEW DIRECTION… let us also, leave the mundane… depart from status quo, and be TRANSFORMED into our FINEST VERSION YET!

God bless you all… please leave your amazing comments… have a most outstanding day!

  1. I believe God is definitely CHANGING, MOVING, SHAKING, TRANSFORMING the "Church" as we used to know it and beginning to take it to a KINGDOM CHURCH. For those not willing to CHANGE during this transformation I believe they will be the ones who fall into deceptive religion, replacement theology, etc. and will believe they are RIGHT when God has washed His Hands of them to ALLOW them to do their "own change" rather than the CHANGE THROUGH HIM! As we get closer and closer to the END TIMES we need to be more in tune than ever to the VOICE OF THE LORD, not man, and FOLLOW ONLY THE LORD'S CALLING. I know the Lord has been working on changing me in overtime and isn't finished by a long shot, but I am willing and ready to be who He wants me to be IN HIM, to go where He directs my path, and to proceed with His Kingdom changes and the desires of God's heart….NOT MINE and especially NOT SOME OTHER PERSON'S! Have a splendid day of CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Wow you ladies… POWERFUL additions today! In case I havent said it lately… THANK YOU for loving God so much… and for spreading that love to me and my family!

Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

You people SHARPEN ME every day!

  3. CHILLY WILLY IT IS – BUT MY HEARTS IS A BURNING FOR THE LORD-HE CHANGES ME EACH DAY BY FAITH I SEE MYSELF WORKING LIKE CRAZY FOR OUR VISION WITH SUCH HEALTHY PASSION AND ENERGIZING STRENGTH I YEARN TO FIND MY PLACE IN HIS KINGDOM AND CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HIS PLAN IS FOR ME AND HOW I CAN EFFECTIVELY SURROUND PEOPLE WITH SIGNS OF HOPE AND TESTIMONIALS–WOW WAITING–I CAN ONLY IMAGINE!!

  4. HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!!! I was thinking the same thing yesterday morning it was TOOOO cold for me to go to work. My friend told me once, “Change is good, you go first.” I think a lot of people have a fear of change. They don’t wanna go through the process because of what friends they will lose or what life will throw at them. But they fail to see past the process and what they can become. Like many can’t seem to see past the storm to the rainbow. I can’t wait to see what happens through Destiny through this time of Change and transformation. When I was in texas that was my core verse Romans 12:2. I almost got it tatted on my back with my duck. But I decided against it.

  5. I can't help but to think of the book "Who Moved My Cheese" by Spencer Johnson, Md. Of course it is no where NEAR as powerful as THE WORD but this short little book sure will give you a new outlook on how you view change. Here is an intro:

Who Moved My Cheese? is the story of four characters living in a "Maze" who face unexpected change when they discover their "Cheese" has disappeared. Sniff and Scurry, who are mice, and Hem and Haw, little people the size of mice, each adapt to change in their "Maze" differently. In fact, one doesn't adapt at all…

This timeless allegory reveals profound truths to individuals and organizations dealing with change. We each live in a "Maze", a metaphor for the companies or organizations we work with, the communities we live in, the families we love places where we look for the things we want in life, "Cheese". It may be an enjoyable career, loving relationships, wealth, or spiritual peace of mind. With time and experience, one character eventually succeeds and even prospers from the change in his "Maze".In an effort to share what he has learned along the way, he records his personal discoveries on the maze walls, the "Handwriting on the Wall". Likewise, when we begin to see the "writing on the wall", we discover the simplicity and necessity of adapting to change.

Full of modern day insight, the story of Who Moved My Cheese? invites individuals and organizations to enjoy less stress and more success by learning to deal with the inevitable change.

But… of course, read your bible FIRST!!!!
