I’m overwhelmed this morning! I feel Gods love for me… he is hugging me right now, like a blanket of warmth on this chilly September morning! After serving him for almost 19 years… there are no words to adequately express just how I feel about my Lord Jesus Christ! Chills run over the surface of my skin organ… tears glaze over the veneer of my eyes… my heart is strangely warmed… his fire burns in me through and through… I don’t know what to say, or how to act… HE IMPRESSES me… He brings me to my knees!

Im only 38 years old! I could live to 90… meaning that I could be standing here right now looking over 52 years still to come! When I gaze forward, I KNOW that my amazing God will be as he has always been… he never EVER fails!

One hour in His LOVE is worth a million years of searching for it! When he comes to us, and when he REVEALS himself to us… this is the AIR WE BREATHE! His holy presence… living… in us!

I still remember the years and days leading up to my life in full time ministry. I remember laying on my family room floor with worship music playing so loud I could barely think. I remember telling God, “Please SEND me… PLEASE spend me up for your cause!” I would say CRAZY things like, “God, here I am… do whatever you want with my life… I am fully yours! Please don’t make me wait another day… please don’t put me off… you have shown me too much… I know that I was born to AWAKEN the earth… and I’m dangerously pregnant with this HIGH CALLING! Please God… I will do it FOR FREE… I will even PAY YOU… for the PRIVILEGE of hearing you say, NOW IS THE TIME!”

Well, that time finally came… in late spring of 1999, I was in full time ministry. And now, after 10 years of doing this… I can still say, “I will do this for free… I will even PAY GOD for the PRIVILEGE of this high calling!

There is nothing in this life comparable to the awesomeness of KNOWING GOD! And whether my years be many or few… I will spend every DAY of them bringing people from earth to heaven!

Ephesians 3:8 Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.

Philippians 1:29 For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.

1 Peter 4:16 But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!

2 Corinthians 5:17-19 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and GAVE US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION: That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (and this is a privilege!)

I hope todays blog adds tremendous value to your amazing lives. Think about the PRIVILEGE of knowing God… and the PRIVILEGE of being his ministers of reconciliation… no matter the cost… that we should be so honored to help others come into the light!
