Happy Thursday!
It’s a chilling 37 degrees here in Virginia today… brrrr! I hope it’s a whole lot warmer wherever you are today!
Last night, we went out on our second night of the GO Outreach! Had a GREAT time… pretty certain we’ll see a few new faces this Sunday as a result! So far, it looks like every time we talk to 36 households… a new family comes to church!
From our preliminary results… we can project the following outcome for GO Outreach phase 1: 6 total nights of outreach/ 6 total hours or outreach (one hour each night)/ 420 household contacts made/ 11 new families or 33 new guests to DFC (average 3 people per household)/ and SEVERAL people who will fall in love with Jesus, get baptized, start new friendships, and learn great things… several new vital members of the Destiny Family… people who will learn to Dream Bigger, Live Bolder, and Make the BIGGEST Difference with their AMAZING lives!
As we continue to GO OUT, we’ll adjust these ratios and keep you guys informed of our success! Thanks for taking this journey with us… and thanks for all the prayers and support!

Hebrews 5:14 Solid food is for those who are MATURE, who have TRAINED themselves to RECOGNIZE the difference between RIGHT and WRONG and then DO WHAT IS RIGHT.
Have you ever run into a person that’s old enough to KNOW BETTER… and yet, they act in a way that is consistent with something you’d expect to see from your 6 year old nephew? I bet you and I have BEEN this person a time or two! lol Especially over the past 12 months… with all the PRESSURES of 2009.
This is a series about issues of CHARACTER and PERSONALITY… I hope and pray to help the GOOD people in my circle: to overcome a few of the FLAWS that are keeping all of us from getting ahead in life! It’s gonna be BOLD and PETRIFYING at times… and if all goes well, this series should make for a LOVELY HOLIDAY SEASON!
