Wow Michelle, Very well written!

Pastor I hope today finds you with peace and comfort and LOVE and many many blessings! I hope and pray that you do KNOW what a blessing you are to the body of Christ and keep in mind ....Gen 50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

We love you and we are praying for you!

Pastor Chuck, YOU are a BLESSING.

Vickie's right. People who are hurting tend to hurt others. They are blinded by their own pain and are more susceptible to the motivations of the devil.

In this situation, the devil has put on a human face as a mask, to make it look like it's a human that is attacking you. But it's not the human that is attacking you. It's the devil. He doesn't like what you're doing, and he doesn't like that you're walking in your calling, and bringing other people into their callings.

He'll use every person that is open to his motivations, in an effort to bring you down, and stop you from going forward. But it doesn't start with the human involved, it starts with your enemy, God's enemy, who is angry at you.

I pray that the devil's assignment against you will be cancelled swiftly, and that the demons assigned to this will be brought before the throne of the Father for judgment, in Jesus' Name. I say as Michael the archangel said, "satan, the Lord deal with you."

Like I said, though, YOU are a BLESSING, called of God to be right where you are, doing just what you're doing, walking in the path that God has brought you to.

But the pain that has been caused is real. So be real about the pain. Take it to the Father, and pour it all out before Him, and allow Him to apply the balm of Gilead to that wound. And then, when the pain is gone, and you are able to rise again in God's love and compassion, I know He will give you the right words to speak.

May today be a glorious day of personal worship for you, as you and Father God fellowship together.

Blessings to you!

Vickie you are so right!! God has been showing this to me so much about a person in my life that I have been avoiding because all they to do is slander others. I use to just not say anything at all or say "well I really don't know that person". My mother always taught me that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. That has stuck with me over the years!! But in the last week, I started praying for this person and for God to let me see them through his eyes. God has shown me the insecurities in this person and the way they see themself. God has allowed me to show compassion to this person and that I need to show them love more than ever. Love covers a multitude of sins!! That is really hard without God's help especially when you are the one they are slandering or if it is someone that you love and care about.

Chuck - I am so glad that you are preaching about this Sunday. And remember your sermons from previous weeks!! Dry it up and G.O.I!!! You Chuck Balsamo are better than that!!

You know Pastor, Nobody has approached us AT ALL with trash/gossip/slander about you and we are VERY happy about that. I am so sorry you continue to feel pain from all of this.

I can't help but to think of this lesson learned about taking back one's feelings and control. I'm NOT trying to minimize your feelings at all but it's just like whoever keeps attacking you with words apparently has immature issues or this would not keep on so that is why I think of my own kids and what I have learned. The example that comes to mind is this..
both fighting in the car... "She's touching me"... Over and over again until screams and cries and you know the drill..... but... when SHE takes control and says .... "touch me here, no here... ok... now.. here" the whole situation is switched and the controller has no more control because the reaction is not bothering her anymore and its not fun anymore and she quits picking.

In my view and opinion when people put down others for whatever reasons all they REALLY are accomplishing is showing whomever is in earshot their own insecurities, their own lack of maturity (whether you want to call it spiritual maturity or physical) It is what it is.

If one human being must tear down another to elevate oneself than we must look at that person with compassion and pity and realize they "just aren't getting it" and love them anyway. As hard as that might be we can do all things thru Christ...... We must ask Christ for help.

If you know who this slander is coming from maybe its time to really get them the help they need. Obviously there is someone out there with some problems that needs addressed. People lash out at others for various reasons and who knows maybe they are treated badly themselves, it could be a cry for help. Hurting people hurt others.

Is it a jealous rage? If so, that too needs some major attention. People get locked up for less afflictions. Whatever the case sometimes we need to take a step back and remove our own feelings and ask ourselves "Does this person need professional help?" Maybe?

Like I said, I don't know the situation. I do know if it rattles your cage it must be pretty intense. I will be praying.

Sorry, I will get off my rampant! I am glad you are preaching about this on Sunday.
