I think that we can all make difference everyday in our place at work, if we realize that God has put us there for a reason. We may not understand it at the time but we will eventually. God doesn;t put us in place that he doesn;t want us. I heard somebody speak one time that said he couldn't understand why God didn't use him and he had asked him to put him somewhere where he could,well put him in a job where he was the only Christian in his department. This man keep praying for a mission opportunity and God finally spoke to him and had said why am I going to send you somewhere else when you cannot even do my work in the mission field that I have put you in now. That really opened my eyes and spoke that everyday we are in a mission field for God....we don't have to go to a foreign country. Our pastor spoke a month ago about how there are 96,000 unchurched people in our county and 156 churches in the county...he had asked what are we doing wrong? Isn't so awesome how once our eyes are opened to the purposefulness (if that is a word that fits) of God's GRAND BIG PLAN in life and how WE fit intricately into that bigger picture no matter where we turn God helps us find our way back on track and all pieces come together in the end. Like the top of a puzzle box. It's a whole lot easier to put a puzzle together when you look at the top of the box that has the completed picture but we all try to shove pieces that don't fit just to get done or just because we THINK it will work. You know, I have found in my life its more enjoyable to put a puzzle together with my family then to do it alone. Very well said and thought out Kristin! I thought my life had no real purpose. But, when I decided to BELIEVE in a man, Jesus Christ, that He is who the Bible said He is, everything changed. My factory job was a BLESSING! An ASSIGNMENT from Heaven. I saw God position me and move through me. As He changed my position, He changed ME and I grew. Every place God has stationed me, I can look back and see a SIGNIFICANT PURPOSE either directly for His Kingdom, or to prepare me for a future task. Today, God has positioned me to SERVE and it is the most fulfilling assignment of my life (so far!) I feel, more than ever, a part of history being made! I know I must be careful because every word spoken leaves some sort of legacy, as does every action seen. I learn more and more as my life continues on and I practice a relationship with my Heavenly Father and with my brothers and sisters.
