Happy Sunday!
Re-Up 09… that is the hot topic of the HOUR! Last night was B-E-A-UTIFUL! I found myself WISHING like a million times… EVERY youth person in this area was in that building last night! I must have texted something like 15 people during the event with the following message: Dude, this Re-Up event is UNBELIEVABLE.. HURRY UP and GET HERE NOW! The music was SO unreal… the mime was a blast… hanging out with really cool people: priceless, concession stand food: DELICIOUS… and Nathan Bain’s message: transformational! And the response (shown in the photo above): brought tears to my eyes!

Load up your mini vans and busses, suv’s and cars and pickup trucks, and limousines, and private aircrafts… even piggy back a youth person if you have to! Trust me… you wont regret the effort! I just want to say thank you all for last night. It has truely change my life and the life of my daughters. If you can attend tonight DO NOT MISS IT!!!
Listening to the Praise and Worship right now…..I am falling on my knees. Amazing. I love serving God. God amazes me daily, especially in my marriage to Randy. I know I am truly blessed in my marriage and I know it is just a glipse of the marriage I will encounter with Christ when I meet him face to face. Oh I can’t wait. Continue to build me up in you Lord. Continue to burn in me and you are my one desire.
Empathy…..you are so right when you say that God will use our situations and circumstances for us to have empathy for others. I believe this is why I have a huge heart for kids. I know what it is like to lose my parents as a very tender age. I get overwhelmed at times in my classroom when students tell me the things they go through, but I know God put me there to help them to see through the circumstance or situation. Kids are amazing!!!!
I am so glad that Seven came to RE-Up….people will be forever changed by his short testimony. Does he have a website? It just goes to show you that the Lord can be glorified even in the style of rap music. AMEN!!!!! God does command us to walk in a upright way….I love the line the mic is my weapon.
Was the Taylor swift song for heaven? I remember when you and her went on the road trip you talked about that song.
