Happy Saturday!
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY: Next Saturday and Sunday nights, we’re gathering area teens to the Waynesboro Park for Re-Up 09!
Here’s the purpose of this multi-church event:
- Night ONE: We’re calling on EVERY area teen and young adult Christ follower… to MEET IN ONE PLACE… and SEE HOW BIG THEY ARE TOGETHER! During this meeting, we’ll be giving a VISION to our young… the kind of vision that movements come from!
- Night TWO: Each teen from night one is going to BRING ONE NON-CHIRST FOLLOWER to the meeting. And the entire night will be had for the purpose of winning these friends to Christ.
Both nights will be packed with bands and dramas and everything else that goes into a modern epic youth encounter with God! Nathan Bain is the speaker for night one… I will be speaking on night two!
If everything works out as we have prayed and planned… hundreds of area youth will have an opportunity for the encounter of their lives… and hundreds of their friends will give their hearts to Jesus Christ!
Today, I wanted to showcase The Call Worship Team… from Lakeland Florida! They’re gonna be leading everyone to WORSHIP God on both nights! The following is a video of Matt Gross (lead singer of The Call) leading Southeastern University in a song he wrote: Awaken This Passion!
Even though there are some “old people” like me on the platform during this performance… you should be able to see the AMAZING POTENTIAL this band will bring to this youth event!

Well, I must say I’m glad I took my pastor’s advise and looked you up! I’m really excited about our teens going to this concert! Pastor Abe and Pastor Marsha told me about you and the Re-Up and my sincerest prayer is that they will have the opportunity to see other teens worshipping in Spirit & Truth and experience other youth DOING for God and not waiting for the adults to do it! This is a blessing indeed!
