Happy Wednesday!
Felt improvement all day yesterday… it was a real deal miracle! Then the evening came… and whammo-the worse cough YET-all night long! This thing is really putting up a fight! Hmmm, I’m pretty determined to go to church tonight and pull off part 2 of my DIVINE HEALING message. Kind of hard to do while I’m still squealing! lol (don’t worry DFCers-I wont go if I’m still coughing)

Really, it could be so much worse I suppose… one lady who went to the hospital on Monday night just before me… they don’t think she is going to live. I pray for her while I pray for me. I’m Running For President 2024! lol
I have to say that yesterday was THE MOST excited I ever got about a state election! Emily and I waited for Coree to get home from work… and we all went and voted together-Coree’s first ELECTION VOTE! I was on the edge of my seat for the results… it was like it mattered to me more than usually because it was SUPPOSED TO MATTER MORE! Does this make sense? I don’t know how else to say it… I felt like God was trying to say something to me yesterday!
So then last night… to express my excitement, I posted the following twitter update: If I felt I could make a bigger & faster difference-I’d consider leaving ministry 2 run 4 public office! Wohooo Virginia!
Since my twitter status forwards to my facebook profile, comments started coming in like, “please don’t do that!” (we prefer you in ministry)
Then I wrote the following reply: haha… think about this you guys… a fifteen year plan for the presidency! I can run for something local/regional… then something like Governor… then something like Senator… then President of the USA! I can study while I serve… maybe hire a private professor to tudor me in LAW for the next 4-6 years… I can pass the BAR… found or partner with an influential law firm… blah blah blah…
Then what?? I’m thinking that EVEN IF this were possible… I personally have a much better chance of bringing REAL HOPE to our world by STARTING UP THE NEXT GREAT (SPIRITUAL) AWAKENING! So, (for now) I will remain inside the boundaries of my current CALLING and LOVE EVERY MINUTE of this honorable five-fold-ministry-office. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
The real thought here is this: am I… are you… dedicating to whatever it is we’ve been created for? The bigger question: How passionately are we dedicating ourselves?
Am I living my life as focused as I would be living my life, if I were on a 15 year race to the presidency? And the answer for me is (positively)- YES I AM! I hope you are too! (because we only have one life to live)

Some people get all flustered when a person dreams like that. Doesn’t anyone DREAM about being the PRESIDENT anymore? I LOVE DREAMING BIG! Because, when I look around this world and see how screwed up things really are… I know that today MORE THAN EVER, “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” –1 Chronicles 16:9a
If I know ANYTHING about God, I know this: God always has one more EPIC PLAN up his sleeve! He’s always searching for his next MOSES… or JOSHUA-to lead the masses OUT OF DARKNESS! Where sin abounds, GRACE does MUCH MORE ABOUND!
Isaiah 60:1-3
Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD RISES UPON YOU.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the LORD RISES UPON YOU
and his glory appears over you.

Think about these things today… about how SPECIAL you really are to God. Hurry up and RAISE YOUR HAND… because you are the one he’s been LOOKING FOR! Get on the right team… aim for something big. Take yourself serious… even if nobody else does! Dream Big, Live Bold, and Make a Difference with your amazing life today! Love to you all…
What's with the "LOL"? I think, and HAVE THOUGHT, you SHOULD be involved in the political arena. Our Founding Fathers WELCOMED the Heavenly Father into the United States Government. Today, half the country wants Him OUT–in the guise of "separation of church and state"–which is intirely misinterpreted.
Sarah Palin NEVER hid her love for Jesus or her Christian values; became a governor AND ran for the presidency! (and gave THEM a run, I might add…)
Mike Huckabee, a Pastor AND the Governor of Arkansas, ran for the presidency and now has a major platform!
Really, we don't know HOW God is going to use us. We see in part, He may give us a glimpse of what we may do…but God usually delights us in the UNFOLDING.
I know you love God, I know you love your country, and I know you love it's people. Enough to write an incredible book "Make Me A Legend" –releasing soon.

Man, I’m glad your are not gloom n doom like everyone else seems to be these days. It’s really refreshing to hear someone be so upbeat. It’s a great escape actually because there is only so much yuck I can stand to listen to about the economy. God is so good. There is hope for us even when it doesn’t look promising. Thank you for always reminding us to dream:)
