Happy Thursday!
Ok everyone, I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to air the following video clip. It’s my SON, Coree Balsamo and his friend Luke Wade doing a HILARIOUS techno dance! Oh, and this is not how they really dance… in fact, neither of them EVER dance… its all for laugh! Hope it puts a smile on your face today!
I love living in the Balsamo house… I thank God so much for my family! Really, I’ve thought about doing a Balsamo family REALITY TV series… because we LIVE OUT every second of our lives to the absolute FULLEST!
Even though I have so many GREAT friends outside the family… my favorite place to be in all the world to be is RIGHT HERE with Emily, Coree, and Heaven! I cant even imagine how exaggerated this all must sound! (please don’t throw up on your computer) LOL
Can I please rave a little longer? THANKS! Emily and I love to HANG OUT with Coree and Heaven… they are our VERY BEST FRIENDS in all the world! They are beautiful authentic followers of Christ, have two very big hearts for hurting people, always high on life, and their creativity is unprecedented! No matter how bad my week is ever going… just a few hours with this family and I am CURED!
Please suffer through this, just a few more lines! LOL
Emily is the most optimistic person you could imagine… her FAITH really moves mountains! Because of her, we overcome the nastiest obstacles with EASE!
Heaven-she’s the HYPER one of our family! When Heaven gets home from school or work… a MIGHTY WIND OF ENERGY RIPS INTO OUR HOME… she’s driven and FOCUSED, has lots of BIG DREAMS and she’s always ready to start up some crazy new adventure!
Then there is Coree… he makes us laugh EVERY DAY! It’s clearly one of his God given gifts! Sometimes, I wonder if he should enroll in acting school and become a comedy actor! He’s the most NATURALLY HILARIOUS person I’ve ever met! Sometimes this really collides with the strong choleric side of my personality… but I’ve learned to live in the moment when I’m with him and Emily!
Emily said it just last week… “Chuck, dark circumstances and mean people can only take away meaningless things from us… we have EVERYTHING that really matters! Look at our amazing family… and how blessed we are! Money cannot buy this! The ministry? That belongs to God and He will make sure of its great success!”
Today, I wish you all GREAT RELATIONSHIPS with family and friends!
- If you’re currently separated from the people who matter most… I am praying for you right now-God can restore!
- If you’re going through a lonely season and you’re not really connecting with people as you’d like… I am praying for you right now-God has promised that he will never leave us alone!
- If you’re suffering the pain of economic hardship and you’re having a hard time seeing light at the end of this tunnel… I am praying for you right now-that God will speak to you as Emily spoke to me last week… and you will be overwhelmed with gratitude over the things that really MATTER!
I’m really praying for the relationships represented on this blog site. You guys matter to God and you matter to me! If things are bad off today… know that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE for God. Start with what you have and INVEST BIG in your key relationships! Every relationship… every family can be BETTER than it is today… with Gods help, every individual can LIVE LIFE IN A LOVING FAMILY!

You're fam is GREAT! I really love how you let you're kids be kids. Usually church leaders kids don't get to be themselves and thats usually why they burn out on church by the time they are grown.
Also, I miss Erik and my family soooooo much and would do anything to be with them. Im not sure why God has us so spread out but I just have to believe its part of a plan. Thank you for todays blog. It's my fave yet:)

Sheesh! I remember when Heaven was a baby and wasn’t opening her eyes. Yet look at her now! Coree has gone from the quiet, shy 8 year old I remember, to a comedian-like personality 10 years later. Must be something in this family, because Joey is like that, too LOL
God is amazing. We love your family. Thanks for sharing your heart. People need to know that is okay to really love their family and enjoy spending time together. It is rare thing these days. Through Randy’s trial we’ve experienced an abundance of love. It is amazing and only God could have done it. As soon as Randy is able we would like to come see you guys and break bread and share stories again.
