It’s the Jolly Season-Get on Your Jolly Everyone!

Happy Tuesday!

Thanks for manifesting all that high energy and enthusiasm over The Tyson Woody Story P1 & P2! I was up near Washington DC for a big part of yesterday with Andrew CostaGreg Holmes, and Spencer Brand (meeting about how to profit together through real estate AND better fund our historical dreams). I did my very best to keep up with your comments throughout the day as I was able-and between facebook, twitter, and the blog site… I was overwhelmed with all your beautiful thoughts! Wow, you guys are so powerful when you want to be! Really, thanks for being such an inspiration in my life and with each other!

.

Tis the Season to be Jolly!

Falla-lalla-laaa… Lalla-laaa-laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

With todays blog, I want to OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE the JOLLY SEASON! Actually, we’re a little behind schedule and we have some time to make up, ladies and gentlemen! According to “THEY,” the Christmas SEASON actually starts up on Black Friday these days! You know, the friday right after Thanksgiving? LAST FRIDAY… four days AGO!

Wooo-hoooo-hoooooooooooo! This is the SEASON to be JOLLY! It’s the season TO BE jolly! Not just jolly for a day or for a few days… but a WHOLE SEASON of JOLLYNESS!

  • Thanksgiving!
  • Hanukkah!
  • Christmas!
  • A New Year!

These are HAPPY FESTIVALS and HOLIDAYS! Look around at all the beautiful, colorful, decorations! Listen to the all that HAPPY MUSIC! The Elf Movie is playing like a hundred times over the next thirty days!

So I don’t want any back talk out of you guys (lol)… take off that frowny face right now… pack it up in a box and put it in the attic for another season… or better than that, MARCH IT OUT TO THE TRASH!

Here at the Balsamo residence… Emily decorates our home with new themes for each season. The JOLLY SEASON is definitely her favorite! I think there is something like 10+ christmas trees of various sizes throughout our house right now… not to mention the christmas shower curtains and christmas salt and pepper shakers and christmas throw pillows and christmas train sets and christmas candy dishes and christmas toilet paper (just kidding about that one-lol)… everywhere I look-our house is Christmas EVERYTHING! It is a glorious winter wonderland around here for the next 30 days… and I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

Here at chuckbalsamo.com you can expect much more on the subject throughout the rest of this EPIC SEASON! I’m DECORATING MY LIFE WITH JOLLY all week long! And once I’m finished… I’m coming after everyone else! (ha-ha-haaaaaa!)

I suppose this is my big Christmas 2009 goal: to help all my friends SMILE BIGGER and LAUGH HARDER this Christmas than any Christmas before it! There’s a growing passion in my heart to RID THE EARTH OF DEPRESSION… maybe not the whole earth, but the parts of earth where my influence currently extends! Let’s do this together… GET ON YOUR JOLLY GOOD PEOPLE-we have a fun and exciting mission to accomplish!

And we will have the JOLLIEST CHRISTMAS SEASON OF ALL TIME!

Luke 2:9-11 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Great blog today. I love Christmas time, it's my favorite. I start back in August and request everyones christmas list. I look at last years christmas list and this years christmas list to see if anything is not on there that they did not get last year.

    holiday

I search and search the present that when they open will bring them the most joy and put that huge smile on there face.

I get all excited Christmas eve because i know Santa will come as soon as I go to bed. I have my own little song and toon I sing every year. (which of course gets on everybodys nerves, but they laugh and put that bigf smile on their face.)

Christmas should be the Holiday we celebrate for months at a time.

Christmas morning Mom fixes a buffet of breakfast food. We all sit aound eating and enjoying everyones company and then off to the living room.

We all take turns opening presents. The kids are the best part with their expressions on their face that they just got that thing they have been waiting for for so long.

I love Chirstmas and I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS this year.

    SANTAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Hahahahahaha…I love that movie. And I love Christmas too! Pastor, every Sunday since I've been back at DFC has been an absolute BLESSING. I'm thankful for the church…the people and the building. :) Every Sunday I feel refreshed, revitalized and ready to take on another week in the world with God. You and DFC have helped me (so much!!!) to stay on track. I'm so grateful!

Thanks Dawn and Elaine.. will work on those photos!

Sammi… your love language is GIFTS… have you ever read the book: The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman? Maybe I will write a blog about the subject sometime soon.

Emily, congrats again for that exciting ENGAGEMENT! Beautiful ring too!! Well, I must say that the feeling is mutual… you have brought so much NEW life to our church! I'm amazed at the difference ONE person can make! Hey, I would really love to hear you sing sometime… whenever you are ready. Even if you want to do a Christmas special over the next few weeks. Obviously a song about Jesus… there are so many good ones out there- modern and traditional ones. Please let me know what you think!

    Have a super day everyone!!

  6. Des says:

Wait, you forgot two. Quanza and Festivus. Ok, Festivus isn't a jolly time, but should be included.
