The Holy Jolly Christmas! (starts tomorrow 10AM-EST)

Happy SNOW Day!

Well, that is if you are here with us on the East Coast of USA today! Yup, the weather people are calling for 3-5 inches of accumulation and I’m saying, “bring it on baby!” I love snow and I love snow days, even though I’m going to be working all day… it’s still nice to know the rest of my region will be slowing down for a day!

Emily had to work at Kohl’s this morning. We got up at 4:30am on a Saturday. Grrrr, one more hour would have made the difference. It’s kind of fun though-watching Emily grumble about being up so early. She is a very funny morning hater! Me on the other hand, I love mornings! Jesus was a morning person, right? (wink)

A great week of blogging this has been! Really, you guys should make sure you’ve read and re-read the past seven messages! Highly Transformational Content!

The Holy Jolly Christmas!

This is the title of the my 3 week Christmas Series! And no thats not a misprint… I meant to say HOLY jolly Christmas! In fact, I’ve re-written the Christmas classic, Have a Holly Jolly Christmas and we’re singing it tomorrow morning-10am EST @ Destiny Family Center!

I do hope you can make it person or on the 10am EST LIVE webcast!

Oh, before I go: check out this video from the new worship band Deluge! These guys are EPIC! (pause the audio clip on their website before watching the video)

Thats it for today! I’m thanking God for this amazing tribe of Jesus people! It’s a privilege writing to you every day… thanks for being so enthusiastic about my writings! I just finished praying for you all. So feel the difference and make a difference-all day long!

SNOW?! We have snow in our forcast depending on how this storm goes. But if we get anything at all it will be wet and won't accumulate into anything anyway.

Right now it's raining and Joey is outside bell ringing and singing with the Cub Scouts at a local grocery store (they are under an overhang to keep dry).

We're in church at 8:45 until about 10:35 (with coffee hour we don't get home until about 11 or 11:30) so we are not able to watch your service tomorrow. Could you post the re-worded (if that's even a word, lol) version of Holly Jolly Christmas? Thanks :)

Chuck, thanks for the encouraging words on yesterday's blog. Here's something else that was given to me this morning from Joey's Advent calendar. For December 4 – "Then the angel said to her, 'DO NOT BE AFRAID, Mary, for you have found favor with God.'" For today – "Behold, YOU WILL CONCEIVE IN YOUR WOMB and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus." The caps emphasis is mine showing that God is telling me not to be afraid, I will conceive.

This week has been a great week of blogs! I loved going back an reading them again and catching up on the ones I missed! I have to say I am very sorry for Em! I remember what it was like to be in retail around Christmas. It made me hate the mornings. LOL Anyway, I am so bummed that we missed out on the Service this Sunday, but I look forward to hearing it online. As always you are all in our prayers!

  4. Struggling here to find how we connected over Twitter (even though it was only a couple of days ago!!). I'm @bt4jc by the way.

I followed the DM link to this blog and want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for introducing me to Deluge!! Oh! My! I had never heard of them and have been SO blessed by the song with this post. Ta Chuck! Really appreciate it!

    God bless mate!
