Happy Wednesday!
So, did the Jolly announcement help anyone yesterday?
It helped me several times throughout the day, and especially again this morning when I read about the Presidents “strategy” for Afghanistan. Grrrrrr… dear God save the King! Really, I mean that… I’m praying more for our government TODAY than ever in my life! I believe America is RACING in the wrong direction behind a frilly banner of HOPE and CHANGE… and I’m terrified for the potential state of America in 2012.
What kind of message are we sending our enemy with this announcement? “Hey Taliban-even though we’re sending in more troops to “bolster our military efforts”… if you guys can just hold on until 2011… we promise to withdraw our troops then… no matter what.”
To me, it seems like our President’s “war strategy” was an obvious political move… not a military one. Even though President Obama did not WANT to send the requested troops, he did. This was an attempt to appease the right side of our nation. Then, to APPEASE all of his friends on the left side of our nation… he tagged on a deadline for troop withdrawals.
I don’t want to inspire a furry of political debate here… especially during the JOLLY SEASON! Neither do I wish to fuel a revolt against our President. We all have our varying opinions about the war, politics, and the future of our nation. Actually, I’m envisioning another way for you and me to GET OUR JOLLY ON!
Let’s announce a PRAYER SURGE!
I mean think about the current battle in Afghanistan. Right away: THIS WEEK and THIS MONTH, we’re SURGING at our enemy with a tsunami of American warriors: 30,000 of them! The difference will be FELT, the enemy will suffer!
Surge defined:
- To rise and move in a billowing or swelling manner.
- To move like advancing waves.
- To increase suddenly.
What if back here, in our fatherland, some of we radicals were to RISE and MOVE in a BILLOWING and SWELLING MANNER? What if we would MOVE LIKE THE ADVANCING WAVES? What if we INCREASED SUDDENLY… and we SURGED at the spiritual front lines of our nations biggest battles? What if our president, and our military… and our national-state-and local government… and our economy… and all American citizens were SURGED with the epic PRAYERS of its Christian Church!
The difference will be FELT, the enemy will suffer… and things would QUICKLY change for the better!
The following Bible verse is an oldie but a goody… it still works for the generation that works IT: 2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Now thats a JOLLY THOUGHT! The great HOPE of a praying generation! Let’s SURGE today… and this week… and this month… and next year… until this land is secured and our wars are WON!
There’s so much more I could say on this subject… but I’m out of time. I pray you all a most triumphant Wednesday and a WHOLE LOT MORE JOLLY! God bless you all!!

What IF God's people would rise up and PRAY every time they felt like grumbling, complaining, criticizing,watched TV, listened to music…what IF God's people would PRAY before they ever got out of bed in the morning????? WHAT IF?? What IF every time we heard about something devastating to a person, a family, a city, a state, a nation, a country, our government, our leaders, we would STOP and simply PRAY? WHAT IF?? It is amazing to me that as I drive down the street and see someone walking or riding a bike who appears to be homeless that I stop and pray for their protection and God's Love and covering over them. As I come upon an accident or anything else devastating, I find myself stopping to pray for the situation. This was not so before 2007!!!! As I have said on this blog before, God has laid PRAYER about EVERYTHING on my heart so strong since 7-7-07, especially our country and government, and then for THIS GENERATION and the upcoming GENERATIONS! WHAT IF we started TODAY?
The Lord just laid this so heavy on me to share these questions with all of you. GOD IS CALLING HIS PEOPLE TO PRAYER, NOT MAN!

I love this topic! One of the first messages I "heard" from the Lord (early Destiny days) was "don't you know you are my warrior?" and I remember this whenever I am feeling insignificant, (or maybe, too signifigant?)
I just finished talking to one of my fellow warriors (and a MIGHTY WARRIOR, she is!), Pam Myers. Looks like we are fighting for one another this week, and as we talked, I got a picture in my head of two soldiers with their backs against each other, spinning and laying a barage of gunfire upon the encompassing enemy!
Because this is our call, the call to pray, it's usually the first thing to go when distractions come. Life in America is busy!! Even if you have nothing to do, thanks to technology, there is an endless selection of mindless diversional passtimes…plenty enough escape…to keep us from worrying about world events or other people's problems.
So, when I hear someone rallying with a battle cry, it snaps me back on task and I have a mission! I put down my excuses for growing cold in prayer like, "I'm too busy to pray,or, I'm just in this alone."
Power is in prayer but MORE power is in UNIFIED prayer and unity is: one plus one plus one…etc. Join a prayer group, join with a prayer partner, join this daily blog!! Oooooh, I feel the wave coming…there's a surge of prayer about to hit!!

Great blog! Im not sure how anyone can make it through life without prayer warriors. My mom is a great one too. The government can't shake a stick at what our prayers can do for the military!
I am learning that hardcore prayer is needed just as much when the troops return home! We can't stop and leave them hanging.
The transition to home life can be very stressful in ways we never imagined (Im also learning that). Sure they are grateful for real bathrooms, good food and family but instead of PTSD, nightmares, depression, and anxiety, we have got to ban together and pray for the perfect peace that passes ALL understanding for our troops. The stuff they have encountered is worse than we have seen in movies because it's real and can have traumatic after effects.
BUT it doesn't have to be that way because God is bigger. Thank you for always reminding us of that:)

Thank you Rajeev Paul. I came to India in 2003 for three weeks. We ministered to THOUSANDS and saw many conversions and miracles. Went to the state of Tamil Nadu with my dear friend Dr. Wesley Paul… worked with Pastor David Surrendra Kumar. We will be back there someday… for certain! Very nice to meet you!
