Just a few days left until Christmas. People scurrying about to finish up their last minute shopping, especially here in Northeast USA following the blizzard of the decade. We had a fun and restful weekend… but its GAME ON TODAY! Not if I can help it! (wink)

Urgent Vision: 4 More Days 2 the Perfect Christmas!
I woke up this morning and saw this STRANGE vision: A creepy SPIRIT creature was flying around casting thick dark clouds on targeted houses… and then entire neighborhoods, until entire regions were suffocating in fear! It was like an erie winter fog. And people we’re running out of their houses to the departments stores in terror. And all the peace they had built up towards the Holiest Jolliest Christmas ever was gone by 10am this morning!
Why am I telling you this? Why such a gloomy vision on the start of your final sprint to Christmas morning?
Here is the meaning behind this vision: For so many people, this has been the greatest Christmas season of your lives! Even though the economy has reduced your spending limits, you still have a higher degree of PEACE and LOVE than you’ve ever had before. So far, you’ve been perfectly focused on all the right things.
I’ve heard your stories, hundreds of them! This is what I have been preaching about for the past few weeks… and all my friends have benefited from 2009 Christmas theme @ Destiny Family Center: The Holy Jolly Christmas!

I believe this mornings vision is a warning for you and me… to guard the VICTORY we HAVE! I mean, definitely head out to the stores and pick up some of those necessary last minute items… if you must. Just be careful not to trade your peace for the panic thats driving so many other people right now.
Don’t get pulled in to a 4 day fear-driven spending spree!
Until today, you’ve successfully escaped the CREEPY SPIRIT CREATURE of this mornings vision! You’ve reduced the material size of your holiday, and EVERYONE is happy about it! Thats because you’ve decided to focus on the things that REALLY MATTER… and you’re RICH with LOVE this Christmas!
So don’t let anyone OR anything take away your Holy Jolly Christmas Spirit! Guard your HEART over the next four days!
Philippians 3:16 “Only let us hold true to what we have ALREADY ATTAINED and walk and order our lives by that.”
In other words: HOLD ON TO THE VICTORY YOU ALREADY HAVE… don’t let it slip away!
Decide RIGHT NOW: the second you feel that creepy spirit creature trying to cast its spell on your home… that you are going to TURN UP YOUR CHRISTMAS CHEER and keep on walking in the brightness or your Holy Jolly Christmas revelation!
James 4:7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Come on you guys… take a few minutes to pray about this vision. Draw NEAR to God and he will draw NEAR to you. (James 4:8)
As soon as you can, confess the following paragraph out loud, “As for me and my house, this IS and WILL continue to be the Holy Jolly Christmas! So right now, I turn up the light of the glory of Christ over me and mine… and I push away any thick dark clouds that may try to cover my mind and family! I am thrilled to life today! Only four more days to Christmas morning… and they will be the BEST four days before Christmas I’ve ever IMAGINED!”
Maybe this vision will help you SEE what’s really going on with your emotions over the next few days… and recognize the forces behind some of your thoughts. I’m going to spend the next 30 minutes praying for you all… that the BEAUTIFUL spirit you’ve had up to this point will continue STRONG all the way to the new year and BEYOND!

OK Chuck, are you ready to hear my 4 days before Christmas? I haven't bought the first present, my tree is in a box at the farm, I am snowed in at Bubba's house, while the girls are at my mom's and Bubba is in Georgia. So guess what I've been doing this morning. After prayer and meditation, I put on some music and pulled the shades and dancing around the house like a loon. Ok, have I totally lost my mind or am I totally at peace at the path God has me on? I feel I am right where I am suppose to be. Thank God for this peace.
Pastor, that is a powerful message. Dave and I were praying this morning and also felt a very strong feeling of heaviness and did not know why. We found ourselves praying for you, DFC, and your family. And then the peace came. The peace that passes all understanding. Peace when the world cries out that there should be no peace. And yes we very much have to be on guard that the lack of peace swirling around looking for a place to land does not penetrate our hearts. Peace that is not depended on our circumstances. And as Lisa said "Thank you God for this peace." Helen
I must add to this peaceful moment. I believe too that heaviness tried to peak its ugly head here in our home this morning too but we had to sweep it out the door! Bo realized he has not bought me anything for Christmas and started looking online and asking me questions about cameras. He was a bit down about it but like I tried explaining to him I'm not spending that much to upgrade to a better camera now and it's ok!
I look on facebook and I read the status updates of people trying to find ways to "get out" to shop to risk the roads and it gives me such a tense feeling.
Then I turn here to your blog and I'm taken back to my world here in my house right now we have Cheaper by the dozen on. Nikki is trying to get Shi and Deborah out from under their snuggley warm blankies to go outside to play with her.
Our little dogs are running around playing.
Bo fixed us a yummy breakfast of eggs and gravy (not together of course). He went to work at 5am only to find the guard and a closed plant! I woke up too and God made me get up and pray protection for him before he left. I felt in perfect peace.
And now today we look at the day before us with anticipation and excitement knowing we are all together. Our loved ones are all safe and sound. Our kids are happy and blessed and we have the things in life that truly matter most!
I say too, Thank you God for your peace and love" these are the things that matter.
I have to say that if I could have stayed home today I would have. LOL I had to come into work and I am hearing the same stories. Everyone frantic that they did not have time to finish shopping because of the weather. I have to say that I was well ahead this year and then after having my tonsils out I fell behind. The funny thing is I am not stressed a bit. I have God's perfect peace and I know that everything will turn out just as the Lord wants it this year!
I thank God that this is turning out to be the best Christmas season ever!! Our house is Jolly for sure. I am praying for everyone who has the Creepy Spirit Creature that they would find God's peace!! I thank God that my family and I have!!!

I had no idea how much of a NOW message this was when I first wrote it… even in my own life, as the day has gone on, I have been preaching this blog to myself like 20 times!! Your comments help CEMENT the thoughts in my heart… it's like you are preaching the blog back to me… so that I can sit back and listen to it for myself! You guys add so much value to my life!!
