Happy Monday!

Church @ Destiny Family Center was unbelievable yesterday. I am SO ALIVE with what’s happening for us these days! It has ALMOST become like one of the extended revivals we did BACK IN THE DAY…

• Like the 97 night revival in Murfreesboro, North Carolina @ Murfreesboro Assembly of God… with Pastors Jim & Vicki Gross!
• Like the 60 night revival just outside of Saint Louis, Missouri @ Word of Life Worship Center… with Pastors Terry & Sherry Palmer!

Until recently, nothing compared with the “encounter factor” of those 1999-2002 revival meetings. I will never forget the “good old days” of traveling around America as a revivalist! Thousands came to Christ, thousands more were healed of pretty much anything one can imagine, hundreds received a calling to ministry, entire communities were turned upside down (in a very good kind of way)!

Our last full year on the road, we preached 313 meeting in 365 days! My wife and children heard me speak something like 800 sermons in 3 years! Nobody can describe it…

Then, over the past seven years, we have foregone such invitations to travel abroad… so that we could lay the foundation for something much bigger! And we’ve ridden a few tremendous waves during this time.

Yet, nothing seems to compare with the magnitude of yesterdays service! The momentum we’re riding right now is our longest momentum to date. It began @ the seven year anniversary of Destiny Family Center… and has not let up for even ONE WEEK!

There were a few moments during yesterdays service, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! At the end of the service, I gave my usual invitation for people to come forward and dedicate their lives to Christ… and something like twenty people came up front, ELEVEN of them dedicating to Christ for the very first time! It looked like every one of them had tears streaming down their cheeks! Brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it!

2 Timothy 4:5-8 But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. 6 As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 8 And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

One Small Spark

How are things going in your church these days? You know, one person can make such a big difference! It only takes one small spark to set the forest ablaze! Decide today, that you and your family are going to add so much VALUE to your church, that everyone will feel the difference!

Pray like the ancient prophets and apostles prayed. Give and serve just like those guys gave everything they had. Swallow your pride, make a bold move NOW, and do whatever it takes to be found in the sweetest center of Gods plan for your life… no matter the price! Dedicate the rest of your life to Gods ETERNAL purposes! Sacrifice today so you can help build tomorrow better world!

Echo in Eternity

When this life is over… the only things that will matter, are those things we did that will echo in eternity! And there is nothing that echos in eternity like the salvation of the lost. This is still the highest purpose of the christian.
