Happy New Year!
Dick Clark: “Oh boy, I tell you… No matter how many times I see it, there is nothing like it! Look at that crowd, they came here to celebrate!”
That quote comes from the man that’s hosted this event for 37 years… my entire lifetime!
My thought: No matter how many times I see it, there is nothing like standing with a crowd of future facing people… on the threshold between yesterday and tomorrow!
The energy I feel this New Year’s Day trumps all my other 37 New Years Days! I’m crying RIGHT NOW, as I type and consider THE WONDER OF THIS NEW YEAR!
None will argue: Times Square is the place to be on News Eve! I believe Destiny Family Center is the place to be on the FIRST SUNDAY of each new year!
I’m beside myself with DIVINE ENERGY this morning, looking with astonishment into the prophetic horizon of this NEW YEAR!
Yeah, without a doubt, the world is still falling to pieces… but I SEE AN OPENING IN THE HEAVENS… a PORTAL to the HIGHEST POSITION OF GRACE AND FAVOR we have ever known! This is my year (and yours too)… our year to FLY HIGH ON THE WINGS OF FULFILLMENT!
Yesterday is GONE! Last year is gone! It was everything it was supposed to be! I thank God for that profound education! It was a year of bitter sweet: FAR MORE SWEET THAN IT WAS BITTER! I thank God, for keeping his promise to NEVER LEAVE ME NOR FORSAKE ME!

Here’s a list of thoughts I’ve been having about my own life for 2010… I hope my hyper raving inspires you!
- I have heard about the Lord and I have known him in lower degrees… this is the year of SEEING HIM IN HIS HIGHEST GLORY WITH MY OWN EYES!
- I have heard those hardly believable stories of other peoples BREAKTHROUGHS AND BLESSINGS… this is the year of MY HARDLY BELIEVABLE BLESSINGS AND BREAKTHROUGHS!
- I have read about how Joseph was promoted out of prison STRAIGHT INTO A PALACE… this is my year of going STRAIGHT INTO MY PALACE!
- I have been inspired with some of the greatest comebacks of all time… this is my year of BEING another GREATEST COMEBACK OF ALL TIME!
- This is my year of FAVOR with God AND MAN! People are coming from EVERY DIRECTION to join this cause!
- From rage to riches, here I go! From obscurity to fame… all for the glory of my Lord! This IS the year of 100 times-ing my platform of influence!
- This is my year of stepping into the fulness of my five fold ministry calling!
- My year of upgraded character and personality!
- My year of walking with God like Enoch did, befriending God like Abraham did, being a man after Gods own heart like Kind David was!
- This is my year of hearing Gods messages, seeing his visions, and dreaming his dreams… with greater PRECISION than ever before!
- It’s my year of manifesting great courage to ACT on EVERY spiritual curiosity… my year of overcoming the fear of demons, and demon inspired people, and the risk of failure, and every impossible barrier!
- This is the year of facing my Goliath’s and cutting off their heads… the year when FEAR is no longer a FACTOR for Chuck Balsamo!
- Watch out world… I’m coming out of nowhere it will seem… and I’m coming with an ARMY OF LEGENDS!
- History… MAKE ROOM NOW! Goodbye 2009… Hello 2010! These will be the BEST DAYS OF OUR LIVES!

Wow, I’m the first to comment? That’s amazing. I bet everyone is busy with familiy and friends, or else you would have had lots of comments here. (Of course, by the time I get finished typing this, with all the interruptions I’ve had, this may not be the first post!)
God has been speaking a lot of things to me concerning this new year. I believe this year is going to be a brighter, fresher, more alive, more energetic, exciting, electric, thrilling year, than 2009 could have ever been.
I know for me personally 2009 was a year of “judgment.” And not judgment in a bad way, but a year of evaluating, of analyzing, of realizing, and of coming to grips with a lot of things. It was a year of “correcting the course” and of “paths made straight.” And those things can be hard to go through. But now, there seems to be such a release. It’s as if God has said, “okay, now I’ve got you back where you belong. NOW we can get moving!”
And I’m not talking about gross error, or horrible sin, that needed to be dealt with. I’m talking about thought processes that needed to be straightened out, the wiping away of beliefs that just weren’t true, to be replaced with fresh revelation and a new way of seeing things, in order to see life as God sees it.
The journey is nowhere complete, because God is still working, but there is now a hope and excitement, and a joy inside me that wasn’t there last year.
So I feel like the journey through 2009 was a hard one, like you said, but I feel that the journey through 2010 is going to be exciting and fun! With lots of new things to be experienced!
