Happy Wednesday!
Or should I greet you guys with far more enthusiasm… H-A-P-P-Y W-E-D-N-E-S-D-A-Y friends! I don’t know, you tell me, Kristin Via! lol Is this a better start than yesterdays lesser animated presentation?
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the feedback from yesterdays VIDEO blog came back and while people seemed to LOVE the message CONTENT, they (Kristin Via) felt like it lacked the HIGH ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM I’m capable of bringing to this bland world!
Kristin also didn’t like how I was reading the written version from the screen. For now, unfortunately… there’s not much I can do about that one, except maybe print the message and look away from the screen when I’m reading… then at least it won’t feel like I’m refusing to make eye contact with my tribe!
Really Kristin, thank you for the HONEST feedback… you encourage me more than enough every single day… so you’ve definitely earned the right to tell me the truth when I’m being PATHETIC. lol Oh, by the way Kristin… did I ever tell you that the other day when you were… Naaah, just kidding!! Just funnin with you! haha
Ok, lets see what I can do to ANIMATE my video presence! If you’re reading this blog, then try to picture what I describing here and tell me what you think.
Hmmm… ok, well MAYBE I should CHANGE MY CLOTHES… put on something more ANIMATED, instead of this boring 10 year old Steve and Barry’s t-shirt I’m wearing today!
Maybe I’m just not being youthful enough! Oh, I know what I can do… I can put on my old Riverheads High School Letterman’s Jacket! And then I could shake the medals every 30 seconds for effect!
No wait, I got it… maybe I can recruit a cohost… like Mr. Frog here for example. (ribbit-ribbit)
Do you think maybe we need to create an element of surprise? Come here JACK! Please, help me animate this lifeless blog! (cranking the jack in the box until it pops up)
Maybe… I’m not spiritual enough… wait a minute (bowing to pray and then karate chopping with my new spirit powers)… now I’m ready!
Whatever option I decide to go with, I have to do something… because Kristin is RIGHT! Yesterdays VIDEO blog, while excellent in content, was a little dull in presentation.
This brings me to this morning’s topic of discussion…
Manifesting High Energy & Enthusiasm!
High energy is commanded in our relationship with God. It’s commanded in the very FIRST of the TEN commandments: Mark 12:30 And you shall love the LORD your God with ALL your heart, with ALL your soul, with ALL your mind, and with ALL your strength. This is the first commandment.
How about Romans 12:11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord ENTHUSIASTICALLY.
James 5:16 says, The effective, FERVENT prayer of a righteous man AVAILS much.
Not just ANY prayer, not just any business, or any service to God… HIGH ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM is commanded, and it is VITAL to the successful realization of all our hopes and dreams!
The word fervent means: to be HOT, to BOIL, to possess ZEAL!
Being fervent is about having such SPEED and kinetic energy as to exhibit relativistic DEPARTURE from classical laws of motion… used especially of elementary particles whose VELOCITY (quickness of motion) has been imparted by an ACCELERATOR! (I found this in some old notes… can’t find the reference)
Then high energy and enthusiasm… to be fervent, to boil, to be HOT, to possess ZEAL… this becomes the accelerator of our destiny that produces “such speed and kinetic energy as to exhibit relativistic departure from classic laws of motion.” In other words… when we figure out how to UNCAGE all the high energy and enthusiasm within us, we become like ROCKETS breaking gravity and blasting into the vastness of a much bigger universe!
John Wesley said, “Knowledge without enthusiasm is like running in the dark. Get on fire and men will come to see you burn!”
A Great Story About Enthusiasm!
There is a tale of the great English actor Macready. An eminent preacher once said to him: “I wish you would explain something to me.”
“Well, what is it? I don’t know how to explain anything to a preacher.”
“What is the reason for the difference between you and me? You are appearing before crowds night after night with fiction, and the crowds come wherever you go. I am preaching the essential and unchangeable truth, and I am not getting any crowd at all!”
Macready’s answer was this: “That is quite simple. I can tell you the difference between us. I present my fiction as though it were truth; you present your truth as though it were fiction.”

So my thought for today: Pray for high energy and enthusiasm, and when you are ON, be ON with all engines firing! When you are OFF, rest well! So you can get up and do it again tomorrow!
- Avail in prayer with high energy and enthusiasm…
- Worship with high energy and enthusiasm…
- Serve God with high energy and enthusiasm…
- Work hard with high energy and enthusiasm…
- Parent your children with high energy and enthusiasm…
- Love you spouse with high energy and enthusiasm…
Or you can prearrange your funeral… and get in the casket and WAIT!
I hope todays blog is better than a pot of coffee! God bless you all with a lifetime of HIGH ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM!

Ah! THERE he is! Exceptional re-emergance of exuberant revelation!! But yesterday's video wasn't THAT bad! ("Beuler….Beuler….") I realy like this (today's) video blog! Much passion. I always enjoy receiving from someone who's excitied about the message!
If I could re-choose my own role in sharing God, I think it would be fun to have Paul Revere's personality…galloping through the streets, waking everybody up, shouting at the top of my lungs; "The King is coming!!! The King is coming!!!"
Speaking of excitement…SOOOO looking forward to CHURCH TONIGHT!!! I've really missed it, and all my church buds! "Boy, are we enthusiastic… H-A-P-P-Y!!!"
