You know, I was thinking this morning. I’ve never failed to keep a scheduled speaking engagement due to sickness. God has graced me to minister every Sunday and Wednesday for something like ten years now… sometimes several times a week! From 1999-2002, I spoke 300+ meetings per year without missing a single meeting! I think this qualifies as an evidence for GOD!

To Infinity and Beyond!

This morning, I wanted to keep things light for another day. It helps me to better cope with feeling so bad in my physical body.

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

They will soar high on wings like eagles.

I saw where the New Zealand Martin Aircraft Company is going to make their Jetpack available to the public by the end of this year! No, this is not a prank blog… the Martin Jetpack will run on regular gasoline @ 63 mph, with a range of 31 miles! Theoretically, it will fly as high as 8,000 feet!

Well, ladies and gentleman, I’m waiting on the Lord for my Martin Jetpack! Yes, I do know this is NOT what Isaiah had in mind when he spoke this prophecy, but it is one of my favorite verses in the Bible… and I LOVE the thought of being able to FLY LIKE A BIRD!

Would you like to own a Martin Jetpack… and be able to fly over to the grocery store, or fly over to the movie theatre, or just fly around the countryside for leisure? Ok, I’ll admit it… I WANT ONE!

You don’t even need a license to fly the Martin Jetpack!

According to a recent Fox News article: the jetpack was designed to meet the Federal Aviation Administration’s part 103 regulations, which govern “ultralight” vehicles that don’t require a pilot’s license (though the company does require you to enroll in it’s training class prior to flying).

The price: $100,000 (ouch) @ the company’s website!

Though I will NOT be purchasing my own Martin Jetpack, I am praying for a Martin Jetpack FRIEND! So, please INVITE me over just as soon as your Martin Jetpack arrives!

If you don’t want to spend that kind of money and you don’t end up with a Martin Jetpack owner friend… here’s another option! lol
