A Heavenly Christmas

Happy Monday!

As you can tell, we are performing a much needed renovation to this blog site. Hope you will enjoy the changes as they appear over the next few days. Here is a shout out to Jonathan Woodard with PotomacCreative.com, thank you for blessing us yet again. May God continually lavish you and Quinn for the love and service you have poured into my life and ministry! You are beautiful people, a true blessing to thousands of people around the world.

Would love to hear from the tribe on this: likes, dislikes, suggestions?

Like a Thick Mountain Dew?

Church at Destiny Family Center yesterday was something beyond words once again! We are now at 208 salvation’s in 2 1/2 months. During the 10am service, God’s presence was tangible like a thick mountain dew (not the soft drink, but the watery substance that falls at dusk)… it was felt! It seems like there is just a thin veil between heaven and the Shenandoah Valley right now. Just one or two more weeks, and something could burst!

The Grand Daddy Soaker Bucket

Before every next service, I feel like a little kid at the Great Wolf Lodge standing in the splash zone in front of the grand daddy of soaker bucket! Have you ever been to the Great Wolf Lodge? It’s a life experience!

The grand daddy soaker bucket is a 1,000-gallon tipper that sits atop Fort Mackenzie™. Every few minutes, the warning bell clangs, and the bucket begins to tip its contents over the roof and onto the giggling group below.

Do you get the picture? It is like every time I pray, I can hear the sound of a happy warning bell… and when I look up with eyes of faith, I can see the grand daddy soaker bucket beginning to tip in this direction… and at any moment its contents are going to rush down the roof and onto this giggling group below!

A Heavenly Christmas

I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here! I can’t promise you snowy Christmas, but I am forecasting something far more beautiful than that. It looks like we are going to have a heavenly Christmas!

Listen! “Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding…” It’s the happy warning bell. Every time I pray, I keep hearing the words of Isaiah 43:18-19 like a high resounding bell, “But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

Feety Pajama’s & a Childlike Faith

Anticipation is a joyful force. I love when my heart is bursting with it. I’m not sure I’ve ever known anticipation like this before! God’s gift to our church has turned me into a kid at Christmas again! This revival is like a fountain of youth. I think I may go buy myself a pair of feety pajamas! This may be the greatest month of my entire life… and yours too!

Today’s photo was taken at the Balsamo residence. It’s the frosty tree in our dining room.

Here is a Christmas song from my friend Aswan North and his band, Paper Tongues. Carol of the Bells

I just finished praying for you (with tremendous passion), hoping you really feel the difference. Have a most triumphant Monday!

Please leave your comments here on the blog site so that we will always have a record of your beautiful thoughts.

With much love…
