This was a week of tremendous effectiveness, a week of unity, a week of love, a week of multiplication, a week of vision! On thursday night, we had the best prayer meeting of the year! It was delicious taste of heaven for everyone!
Tomorrows church service @ Destiny Family Center is going to be very powerful! Im preaching about blasting through the curses at 4th Down and Inches to go… to break into your blessing zone! Yes, it is positive, encouraging, and highly motivational… the kind of message that’ll expand your concept of God and make you want to ten times your future! So, shut up bottom dwellers; I already know how you feel about this kind of message and I’m preaching it anyway! (lol) Dear God, I can see it in a vision this morning… and I’m counting down the hours!
Today, our church (Destiny Family Center) is hosting a FREE station at the Sweet Dreams Festival in Stuarts Draft! We’re giving away free waters, soft drinks, and snacks… and we hosting a private diaper changing area. No, we will not be changing diapers… just proving a place for Dads (and Moms, lol) to work on their babies in private! Oh, and we’re having face painting and kids games!
Before sweet dreams, Emily and I are going to the Staunton Farmers Market for some tasty fresh fruits and vegetables! If it get hot enough, we’ll stop back by the house and jump in the pool a few times throughout the day!
Sorry I’m so late posting todays blog. I had few things come up that demanded my immediate attention. Everything is good now, thanks for the twitter and facebook concern messages. This is officially the latest I’ve ever posted before. So, YAYE! on breaking the record! lol
This morning, I smashed my left thumb and it’s turning purple! I know you guys will probably laugh out loud at my expense here, but there are no words to express this pain! When it first happened, I groaned like a woman in child birth… in front of a motley crew of macho building contractors! I tried to be cool about it, to no avail. I’m positive those guys called my a little sissy boy at least once since that incident! Maybe I shouldn’t tell them about the difficulty I’ve had typing like this. We’ll just keep that between us! (smile)
Ok, so I just finished writing one of the best blogs of my life! Since it’s so late already, I’ve decided to post it tomorrow morning. Its bold and somewhat controversial! I think you’re gonna LOVE IT!

The 12 noon to 1pm Good Friday service was very blessed! What a time we all had! Great worship by Aaron Huffer, a few beautiful life stories, a message from myself about Blood Covenant, and the very best communion teaching I’ve ever heard… from my dear friend Linda White! Life changing… so glad we host this annual event!
Last Night
Heaven (my daughter) and I took Coree (my son) a special birthday dinner at work yesterday evening… that was very fun! Then, Coree went out with his friends and Heaven and I cooked chocolates all night! Photos, coming later!
Tonight
I’m doing the opening prayer for a local Pro Wrestling Event. My friend Ryan Huffer is the announcer for this event! Gonna be FUN! Check out the Facebook page for this event if you’re a local person! See you there?

I read one of my favorite psalms of all time… over and over until it was running through me like electricity! Thought I would share it with you guys… it’s so dimensional!
Psalm 101
1 I will sing of your love and justice, Lord.
I will praise you with songs.
2 I will be careful to live a blameless life-
when will you come to help me?
I will lead a life of integrity
in my own home.
3 I will refuse to look at
anything vile and vulgar.
I hate all who deal crookedly;

Ok, so I spent something like an hour trying to figure out how I would tell you guys some very, very important news. At first, I thought about waiting until Sunday morning to announce it live @ Destiny Family Center. Then, a few people found out… and well, you know how fast good news travels right?
So, I guess I’ll just come right out and say this… I’m PREGNANT! Ahhhhhhhh! Just kidding! lol
After 4 years of trial and sacrifice (a gross understatement), I am very happy (another gross understatement) to make the following epic announcement…
As of 3:16pm EST yesterday afternoon: my historical book, Make Me A Legend is now FINISHED!
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be diligently searching for the right publisher! As a few of you know, I already have a very interested medium sized publisher. I just feel like we’re going to end up signing with one of the leading publishing houses… and we’re going to distribute a few hundred thousand copies, maybe much more than that!
Also, I have a dear friend who is a dear friend to one of the best selling Christian authors of all time… and I’m close to positive he’s going to arrange a meeting between her and I to discuss the possibility of forwarding Make me a Legend!
The completed manuscript is 98,380 words, 402 Microsoft Word Document pages, 17 chapters, and 175 subtitles! There is a quotable line in EVERY paragraph! MMAL can very easily publish as two full size books!
Please pray for me to have tremendous favor with the right people and the right publisher… this is GOING TO HAPPEN!
Finally, I wanted to thank you all, for encouraging me throughout this entire process! Especially to my loving family, the people of this loving blog tribe, and to the people of my loving church family, Destiny Family Center! Watching you guys live your faith so beautifully… reading your brilliant comments… finding daily strength from your frenzied excitement over every message I write! You guys have changed my life in a million positive ways!
We’ve had so much fun already, it’s so hard to believe that THIS IS STILL JUST THE BEGINNING!
Above every human supporter, I want to say thank you to my loving Heavenly Dad for giving me this great gift! It really is a beautiful GIFT, and even though I complain way to much about the sacrifice it requires, I want Him to know, I LOVE IT SO MUCH! To think about how much better our community, nation, and world is going to be as a result of this book… it brings me to tears!

I had so much fun @ Destiny Church last night… even more fun than usual! The love of those DFC people adds so much value to my life and family! Every person in America should be so fortunate, to BELONG to a loving church family! Dear God, I cannot imagine how people get along, with all the pressures of life… without a family, good friends, and a church family!
We have dinners EVERY Wednesday night from 6-7pm, prior to our small groups. Last nights dinner was the best yet! It was unbelievable! Today, I want to honor Mary Harvey for everything she does to make these meals a success. Last night was over the top! Thank you Danny Leslie for catering these past 90 days… and thank you everyone else that helps in so many ways! God bless you all today… with GREAT favor!

Already this year @ DFC, we’re seeing the BIGGEST and FASTEST transformation to any group of people we’ve ever seen in all of our lives! Everyone is so on fire! It’s really blowing my mind! And to think, the year is still so young!

What a schedule I have today! Really, this could be the busiest day, and then the busiest weekend of my life… the busiest of 2010 FO SHO! I woke feeling very stressed this morning… hmmmm, I better pray until this emotional slump recedes…
Did I tell you guys, tomorrow is our annual Washington DC Feed the Homeless Outreach? We’ve done this EVERY YEAR for something like the past 17 years… one of my favorite things to do in this life! Here’s a photo of some of the packages we’re taking on the tomorrows outreach!

I thank God for Evangelists Gerald & Phyllis Mayhan… that they keep on leading our teams every year. There is not another man in all the earth more adequately equipped for such an outreach!
Gerald was a point man in Vietnam, two purple hearts… lived 18 years addicted to heroin and cocaine, living on the streets of Washington DC… and his wife waited for him and PRAYED for him until GOD reached down and pulled Gerald out of the lowest gutter.
Gerald is one of my very best friends and the greatest evangelist I have EVER MET! Check out his ministry website when you get a chance!

This year (2009), even more than previous years… I really experienced the enormity of what took place! There are so many hurting, lonely people in our earth. And while so many well to do humans point the finger down at these bleeding ones, God compels us to come to their aid!
God cares about each one of them… not desiring to lecture them about the series of wrong turns they made that led them down into the gutter… He possesses us with his compassion and sends us to kneel down beside them… He gives us a message to speak… He asks us to read them a love letter… And we go with his love and his tears. He embraces them with MY ARMS… and I can feel HIM IN ME making his appeal through MY HEART.
This year, we took a team of 35+ into the frigid streets of our nation’s capitol. All day long, we gave HOPE to the HOPELESS. Even more than the message we gave them was the message we asked them to tell us. We gave them our ears… we listened to them like they mattered… and they FELT OUR LOVE FOR THEM! Their tears and ours flowed like rivers all day long.
One man, “Alfrado”, explained how he came to America from Elsalvador… it took him 3 months to get here, dreaming that this would be a place of new life for him. And there he was sleeping on park benches and eating food from the trash containers. Alfrado said that some nights, it’s so cold he is scared to fall asleep… that he may freeze to death and not wake up.
Another lady, “Pricilla”, said that she just got released from prison a year ago after being stabbed in her spine during a prison brawl. She grabbed me and made a puddle on my shoulder as she wept about how scary it is living on the streets at night! She talked about being raped and beaten over and over… and told me that she is not built for this kind of life!
Then there was “HANK”… the happiest homeless man on the face of the earth. We all left Hank wondering if we had met an angel! Just like Hank, so many of these destitute men and women gave us back so much more that we gave to them!
Throughout this day, we distributed hundreds of sandwiches, care packages, sweaters, sweatshirts, blankets, and everything else we could get into their hands. More than these… we gave them Jesus… and they took him happily into their hearts!
Every single person on our team stepped out with a fearless kind of faith… they shared their personal life stories, prayed like seasoned ministers, and gave LOVE as if God himself was right there in physical manifestation!
Please pray for this same level of success at tomorrows outreach! That it’ll be like Jesus himself is walking through the blistery winter streets of Washington DC. God bless you all with a most triumphant Friday… thanks for being here… please leave a comment and help us expand this tribe in every creative way you can dream up! Love you all…
