Confidence is Attractive :)

Just Kidding! HAHA!!

(Hillarious Cartoon- It's a JOKE!)

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

Yesterday was an AMAZING Sunday! Church at Destiny Family Center was UNBELIEVABLE! Hope you were there… and felt the same. The archive should be up on the DFC website soon, for all our out of towners. I will post a written version of the prophecy on this blogsite later this week. :)

Ok, check out these amazing verses from psalms…

“When evil people come to devour me,
when my enemies and foes attack me,
     they will stumble and fall.
Though a mighty army surrounds me,
my heart will not be afraid.
 Even if I am attacked,
I will remain confident.”  -Psalms 27:2-3

Today, I want you guys to think about the word “confidence.” Are you a confident person? When you look ahead at your day, week, month, and year… do you SEE yourself succeeding?

“Even if I am attacked, I will REMAIN CONFIDENT?” Now that’s the kind of confidecne I’m taking about! This quality is a most definite SECRET to success!

From experience, I say that “pity” is overrated! For way too many years of my own life, I have leaned way too hard on the sympathies of my peers. I used to think that if I told my story to enough people, and enough of them felt bad for me… then they would be more supportive.

Then I learned the VALUE OF CONFIDENCE! People rally to the person who knows who they are, knows where they are going… and moved into everyday with the CONFIDENCE that they are going to make it there!

This kind of confidence is found in close proximity to the Lord! It is found in the completeness of knowing that God LOVES us and that he is making us successful! When we start stepping out of our bedrooms with this kind of confidence, the whole world will conspire in our favor! Confidence is ATTRACTIVE!

PLEASE NOTE: The above cartoon is a JOKE, intended to add a bit of humor to your day. It does not represent my personal philosophy. So LAUGH OUT LOUD and move on. Please don’t start putting people down you guys… LOL! :)

Have a super day! Chat with everyone later on!

Don’t Be A Scare D Cat

Happy Tuesday Morning Friends,

Since Psalm is so long, I’m reading in four sections. Here’s my gift to you guys from Psalms 27.

”The Lord is my light and my salvation—
so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
      so why should I tremble?
When evil people come to devour me,
when my enemies and foes attack me,
      they will stumble and fall.
Though a mighty army surrounds me,
my heart will not be afraid.
 Even if I am attacked,
      I will remain confident.”

Confidence is a very powerful force… depending of course on who or what we place that confidence in. For the guy who wrote this Psalm, there is no question about where he placed his confidence. He says, “The LORD is my light and my salvation… SO WHY SHOULD I BE AFRAID?”

Fear is a very dangerous force. It opens the door for destruction. Job, the man who lost his houses, his entire farming business, and all his children… this is what Job said while assessing his damages, “The thing I feared HAS COME UPON ME.”

Whether we know it or not, so much of what happens in our lives is determined as a result of these two opposing forces: Faith and Fear. If we live in the constant dread of ”whats going to attack me next” or “when it rains it pours,” we leave the doors to destruction wide open… and all kinds of crazy things happen to us all day long. But, when we wake up everyday with the CONFIDENCE that God is looking out for us, most of the battle is already over… we win just because we believe that we are GAURUNTEED winners!

Put up a shield of faith similar to the one described in Psalms 27… and watch what happens when you start believing as if you are invincible!

I just finished praying for you guys… have another amazing day… see you tomorrow!
